“The website provided a delivery slot for when the basket will be delivered. Although I received an email to say my order has been dispatched, the basket was not delivered on the selected delivery date and 2 days after dispatch. This order was a surprise for a friend, despite the delay she thouroughly enjoyed it.”

Hi Alia, thank you for your feedback. I have looked into this for you and can see we dispatched the gift on time to meet your preferred delivery date, but unfortunately it was sent to the wrong depot by the delivery company & so was delivered the next day instead. You had selected the standard delivery option of 2-3 working days, but we had upgraded it to a next day service so this meant it was still delivered within the time frame. “it was simple to choose the basket that I wanted to send and it allowed me to see exactly what was in the basket to see if it is what I want. I found the webiste easy to use and find the information that I needed to make my order”

“I live in the United States and wanted to send a get well basket to a relative in Scotland. I found your website easy to navigate and many options available. Best of all, the basket I chose (get well survival basket for men) was a huge hit. There were so many perfect and appropriate goodies in it ranging from sweets to brain teasers . The only negative for me was the exorbitant shipping charge.”

Hi Brenda, thank you very much for your feedback. We're so glad the gift was a hit, but also sorry to hear you feel our shipping charge was on the high side. We simply pass on what we get charged by the delivery companies & actually even subsidise these rates too. This is simply what getting bulky gift baskets delivered on a next day basis costs us. You also receive a tracking service were we follow the delivery progress, notify you of delivery & assist with any delivery problems or re-delivery attempts should the recipient not be at home. We made the decision not to hide the cost of delivery in the price of the basket so our customers are getting excellent value for money. “Ordering for loved ones when you live at the other side of the world can be hard but you make it easy and quick. I use your service every year for my Granma's birthday, there always a great selection to choose from, she always get her gift in time, and she always loves what she's received. She even got the same delievery guy two years running and he remember her which she loved. Thanks you for helping make her day special.”

“Nice easy site to navigate around.I really wanted red wine and chocolate assortment for my dad's birthday but couldn't find the right combination.The delivery is not until feb 16th so I am sure he will report how nice his gift is!”

“I had ordered the Cheesey Overload basket for my wife. According to my wife it arrived by DHL in great condition. She was very happy with the packaging and the items within the basket. Would I purchase it again? From her reaction I suppose I would.”

“I use this service everytime I need to send my daughter and her family a beautiful hamper for various occasions as they always provide excellent service and the products are divine. “I have used Baskets Galore for the past two years and found them to be flexible and so easy to use for gift baskets. I really need to be able to choose the items I want in my gift basket and I have found that Baskets Galore are always able to give me what I want. I will use them again at the end of this year for my annual gift basket because they send my order on time and always complete my order punctually and with compassion and grace.”

“I ordered a gift basket for my Aunt who lives in Scotland. I had tried to order from another company but since was out of the UK and I wanted to use my PayPal I could not complete the order. Although uncertain I saw the BasketGalore website and decided to take a chance. I am so happy that I did. I ordered the Passionate Fruit Variety Basket and my Aunt was thrilled with it. The presentation was beautiful and the fruit was spectacular!! There was not one item that she didn't like. I appreciate the simple ordering page and the fact that I could use my PayPal account for this international order. I encourage anyone who is hesitant on using an online company to try this one...I don't think you will be disappointed...Just be sure to write in whatever message you want on the card, I see many others forgot to complete this. I am one happy customer!!!!!!! and so is my Aunt”

“I ordered a baby girl gift basket for my friends in the Channel Islands. Although I'm quite happy that the basket arrived on time and in good condition, it did not include the gift card that I ordered . My friends were left baffled as to whom the gift came from and resorted to social media to determine who sent it to them. I'm quite disappointed that it did not include the gift card with our requested text.”

Hi Jasmin, thank you for your comments. We're pleased to hear you & your friends were happy with the baby gift basket, but disappointed to hear the gift card was missing. I have checked your order and can see your message was detached from your order form & sent to warehouse with a gift card. In this particular case the gift card was located in a plastic pocket on the outside of the delivery carton, behind the delivery paperwork. I can only think that perhaps this somehow became detached when going through Customs, as the delivery was to the Channel Islands. Nonetheless we apologise that it was missing, We also just wanted to clarify that our gift baskets are delivered in branded BasketsGalore boxes which have our website and telephone number on. This is so the recipient can easily get in touch with us if they need to regarding their gift. If your friends had been in touch we would have happily checked the message for them & offered to post another gift card out. “It's very hard to figure out how to brighten up the day of a 94-year old on his birthday. My grandfather is is virtually house-bound and almost blind, and has largely retreated from life by spending most of his time parked in front of the television; he rarely even interacts with visitors. But he still, fortunately, likes to eat, and he particularly loves cheese, so I sent him a cheese gift basket. He was absolutely over the moon about it - even to the point of calling me, for the first time in years, and engaging in a real conversation. His reaction was a real delight. Many thanks for a wonderful product and service.”

“Living in the US, I wasn't sure where to go to find a gift basket for my friend in England who recently lost her mother. I was really happy with the selection offered by Baskets Galore, and their flexibility and attention to detail that allowed me to customize the Thinking of You basket to accommodate the family's dietary preferences. The gift was incredibly well-received, and I was incredibly thankful for the ease of being able to send it to them. The find address feature was an exceptionally nice touch for me, an international customer that did not know much about how to properly lay out a UK address.”

“I live in Australia but used BasketsGalore to buy a large gift basket for my nephew living in London. I found the online experience good and the delivery process went very well (unlike the experience I have sending gifts to the USA). My only disappointment was that I found the selection of baskets rather limited in terms of variety and quality of goods. Perhaps due to it being Christmas, but many of the hampers included traditional English Christmas goods (like mince tarts etc) with little options for a broader selection of other more gourmet or continental type goods. I would definitely consider using BasketsGalore again if their selection at times other than Christmas provides a better selection of such options.”
