I found Irish Gourmet UK and selected them to send things to family in England. The products are excellent. If you have other merchants that deliver in the UK..I would like to know about them !

It's good to have the numerous choices that Baskets Galore has to offer for every occasion as well as making substitutes with them as well. I find that since I've used Baskets Galore for my family and friends in the U.K. I have not been disappointed. I have been using Baskets Galore for about 2 yrs since I discovered them on line. The comments received from my family and friends have been very complimentary and positive. Their prices are reasonable and fit all budgets. Deliveries have been on time as requested with their next day delivery.

The use of the web site is uncomplicated and easy to use. I actually completed and paid for my order when I realised I had put the wrong date! I used the contact menu and they were able to change the date.

My experience with Baskets Galore has been very good. I have ordered several baskets over the years while my daughters have gone to school in England and even now when one of them has graduated and is now working and living in London. I like the flexibility to be able to make my own selection of items for the basket so that I get the perfect items for my girls and they know they have been personally picked just for them. Baskets Galore has lots of items to pick from so you can mix in food, pampering items, even flowering plants! Delivery has always been consistent as has the service. Baskets are the perfect gift for loved ones that live away and they are always fun to receive.

The website is well laid-out and easy to navigate. The available hampers were varied and good value. I was sending a package to a university student studying in London (we live in the US), so it would have been nice to have a choice of a "staples" of basic goods hamper as well as the more traditional gift hampers.

Product ordering process was fine. Delivery was bad. Didn't leave on doorstep so won't be delivered on birthday now. Delivery guy called to say he wasn't in the area anymore and there was nothing he could do about it. Very unfriendly person. I would pay extra to work with a decent delivery company.

Hi Jonathan, thank you for your feedback. We were sorry to hear you were unhappy with the delivery. Unfortunately all 3rd party couriers require a signature for deliveries. We do try to point this out at various stages on our website to avoid any disappointment. If the recipient is not at home a calling card is left so as they can rearrange delivery on a convenient date. We also track all deliveries and get in touch with recipients to offer assistance. I will certainly pass your comments onto the delivery company used in this instance regarding the driver. but unfortunately once they have left the area they parcel is taken back to a local depot. We have alternative couriers too so could send any future parcels your order with them. We could also ask them in advance if you can give permission for the gift to be left with a neighbour perhaps? Simply pop us an email through after you place an order and we can request this. Thanks again for the feedback and we trust the gift was enjoyed. The BG Team

It was a great surprise for my husband to whom I sent the basket for his birthday. The basket contained some fruits and according to him, they were all juicy and fresh. He also said the biscuits and the birthday cake were really tasty, so he enjoyed them a lot. In spite of the delivery was made one day after the date we agreed from the first time, Basket Galore kept me informed about the delay and solved the problem as soon as they could. I must say, at the beginning I had some doubts especially about the delivery but they answered my emails and gave me solutions, so that’s why I decided to buy. Very kind and reliable people! :)

I have used Baskets Galore several times and in every instance, the recipient has been amazed at the quality and selection of the baskets. The delivery has always been on time. I was very disappointed with the delivery time was supposed to be there on the 5th for my parents anniversary and did not arrive until today the 9th in the afternoon. I had hoped that they would be able to celebrate in style with their basket as we are in the United States and can't be there to celebrate with them. Maybe DHL was the problem not sure but as I said I was very disappointed with the delivery.

Hello Janice, thank you for your comments. We were sorry to read that you were disappointed with the delivery aspect of our service. Unfortunately there was an original delay for all freight in the UK due to an emergency landing by a passenger jet at East Midlands Airport (the central freight hub). We had emailed to explain & apologise for this delay, but unfortunately it was out of our hands. This affected your Friday delivery and then came the weekend, when the couriers do not operate, and so delivery was scheduled for the next working day -Monday. Unfortunately a further delay was then experienced due to an incorrect flat number being supplied on your order form. My colleagues worked quickly to update you on the original delay and to then get in touch with the recipients when they saw DHL were having difficulties delivering on the Monday due to “address information being needed”. Perhaps you did not receive our communication and so were not aware of the circumstances? My colleagues then supplied DHL with the correct address after speaking with the recipients, and rescheduled the delivery for the next available day (Tuesday). We just wanted to let you know that we had been working hard to get your gift delivered as soon as possible and that unfortunately the delays were out of our and DHL’s hands on this occasion. We take care to monitor all deliveries during the year, as well as supplying our customers with tracking details for their gifts. We trust the recipients were still able to enjoy their gift basket and that we have gone some way to explain the reasons behind the unusual delivery delay. Thanks again for your feedback and allowing us the chance to explain. We hope to be of service to you again in the near future. Thank you.

Ordering a basket for friends in UK when living in Australia was a bit of an unknown. The company kept me informed of the order schedule and I am able to track the order easily. Having sent a basket before, I know the contents of the basket were of a very good quality.

This was a gift ordered from the USA for a bereaved family in Northern Ireland. It was delivered on the due date, and feed-back on the basket content was excellent. It is good to have a reliable company which can deliver on its promises, and quality gift baskets, all year round and not just for Christmas. Basket Galore's on-line communications were also excellent. Well done!

I have used Baskets Galore for years to send food gift baskets to my family in Scotland. I have never had a problem with an order and the variety of baskets made it easy to pick something for either my Mum, Mother-In-Law or sister. They love them. I would highly recommend Baskets Galore.
