“The service from Barnitts was excellent, delivery prompt, well packaged. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the HG freezer de-icer. Used as per instructions, after an hour and half hardly any frost/ice had shifted, so resorted to hairdryer and bowls of hot water. The whole point of purchasing this item was to have the freezer switched off shortest time possible and not to heat it up. Sorry.”

“Pleasant, helpful lady who spoke with me on the phone. Disappointed with delivery company losing package, your company apologised, they didn’t . Also disappointed to find product for sale elsewhere with 2 sandwich cages included in price.”

“I was able to purchase a kettle that I could not get in the London area and at a very good price. This made me very happy. Also, when I visit York your shop is a must to visit as we do not have shops like yours in the London area.”

“Everything was going good until I got an email from you to say it was out of stock. I went to another store to look for another chair. I got an email while I was looking in another store from you to say that it would be delivered in a few days time from the manufacturer direct. So I wasted a journey. The chair was delivered today quite a while after you said. I am pleased with the chair and all in all it was worth waiting for.”

“My items arrived well packaged, updated via email that the item was shipped, but you should consider giving a tracking number for the parcel and also the courier service used, it would help the customer greatly, as I emailed to see if I could get this information but was declined it and told it could take up to 5 days Delivery, I just wanted to be at home to receive it when it arrived, fortunately I was, and happy with my items.”

“That I got my outdoor lights in time for xmas nobody in Milton Keynes/ Newport pagnell area sell lights for the garden that are such good quality and last for years. Sadly I don't get up to york to visit your shop as often as I use to when my parents where alive. But we do try and get up to yorkshire 3or4 times a year and always shop with you. You always seem to have what we are looking for”
