“I haven't shopped with you before but I was visiting the area and popped in. So many thing I could have taken home, but I DID see something that was looking for and bought them. Then once I got home I ordered the rest of them as I couldn't trust that wouldn't have broken them on the train home. Excellent service as they arrived within a few days and securely packaged against breakage. I will be shopping again once I've moved, and have already shared your online store. Bought : Cappuccino cups”

“I have been searching for a suitable clock for quite some time now, but after hunting around I just couldn't find the right one. Having visited York (my favourite city) many times over the years, and having purchased a travel clock on my last visit, I checked out the Barnitts website to see if they had what I was looking for. Guess what! they came to my rescue with exactly what I wanted, I ordered my clock on a Monday evening, and it arrived (well packaged) on the Wednesday morning. I did consider another in-person visit to the store, but perhaps that might have been a little too extravagant due to the circa 176 mile round trip involved. Excellent service 👏”

“We happened upon the store while in York for the day and were delighted we could order form the website, as we weren’t really prepared to carry items and shopping. We had been searching for bench cushions for a while and Barnitts had some. Ordered, arrived. Job done!”
