“Very efficient in letting me know one item was out of stock but gave a date for re-stocking. Parcel was sent the day after the re-stock date and arrived 2 days later. Very impressed.”

“after waiting over 10 days for my item it arrived damaged, these things happen and an exchange was arranged for the following week for which I scheduled a day off work (Wednesday), the day before delivery I was informed that the item couldn't be delivered until the following day (Thursday), I emailed to say that this would be no use as there would be nobody at home for the exchange and suggested Saturday I have been informed your courier doesn't deliver on a Saturday? and as yet nobody has been in contact since to arrange a suitable date for exchange. Having placed the order online I expect to stay in all day waiting for the delivery, having to do this three times is very inconvenient..”

“My enquiry about the umbrella stand was very handled by a very friendly lady who went out of her way to double check the stock. The stand arrived in two days despite it being just before Christmas. I recommend this company and will use them again.”

“Although having to wait 10 days as some items were not in stock, we were kept updated and once in stock the items were despatched, well packaged, and delivered on the day/time advised. Excellent service from Barnitts as usual.”

“Fabulous customer service! I had a problem with a kettle I bought from them online nearly a year ago. I emailed them about it and they immediately sent a new kettle to replace the faulty one. Delivery was really quick and the staff were very helpful and very polite. Many thanks!”

“Would have given five stars but from order to dispatch was a bit slow, but put that down to holiday period post Christmas. However was kept informed of all stages of the delivery process. On balance well pleased.”

“This fire guard was the item I wanted. Barnitts had it at the best price I could find on the internet. Their service was efficient and delivery was very slick. Barnitts texted when the item was dispatched and the delivery truck texted when they were a couple of hours away. Overall the service was good the customer experience was great and the item purchased was of really good quality. I'm a happy buyer. Thank you Barnitts.”

“I went to Barnitt's in York to buy a kitchen waste-bin. The assistant suggested I buy on-line so I didn't have to carry it around town. The website was easy to use, the delivery was fast and free, and the bin is perfect.”

“I ordered a storage jar but unfortunately it was out of stock, and when Barnitts managed to obtain one it was sent to me without delay. I am delighted with it and with the service I received. I shall certainly recommend this firm to others.”
