“I did not receive my order that I had to wait a few weeks for as it was out of stock. The reason? On the very day it was due to be delivered, Yodel, the delivery company, refused to deliver it as it was 3cms over their parcel size limit. Whist I appreciate that this is not entirely Barnitts fault, other than they employ the services of this stupid delivery company. The thought crosses my mind can anyone rely on receiving goods that have to be delivered? The answer is NO”

“Item (44 piece canteen of cutlery) arrived much earlier than original delivery date given, however there was a slight issue (2 spoons missing). Barnitts advised by email to which they replied very quickly. Missing items were apparently not in stock but obtained from their distributor and forwarded on to me within a week) and without quibble. Therefore no complaints about quality of service.”

“This was my very first order with your company. The item. a fireguard. was out of stock. but I received several emails keeping me informed of delivery dates etc. I have received the fireguard and am totally happy with the item and the service given. Thank you I won't hesitate to order from you again should I need anything”

“I had never heard of Barnitts, but after looking for some decent cutlery, I found a set on amazon for £80, after some goolge searching Barnitts come up and they had a sale on and it was £60 for the 44 peice set, so bought two sets, dont be put off if it is out of stock, it seems some stuff is ordered direct from the suppilers, I think in total i had to wait about 4 weeks, but its for our new house so not moved in yet, anyway both sets were delivered, very much over the moon with the service, buy with confidence :)”

“I ordered a Brabantia ironing board cover, only to find it did not fit correctly upon arrival. I have a Beldray ironing board of many years (that is the size except for 2cms less in length and shape of Brabantia Ice board) and have had a few Brabantia covers that have fit of the size I ordered. I did get in touch and explain this fact, only to be informed that basically if I ordered it, then if it didn't fit, then to return the item back to Barnitts. I did ask if Brabantia could have been a little stringent on the size in this new cover. I was advised to send it back with me paying the return postage. I then asked, if in this case perhaps they may forego this cost. I waited a few days to be told basically, I had ordered this size and if it didn't fit, this was my fault and no, they will not be prepared to help with the return postage, which would have been £3.20. I feel disappointed that Barnitts are perhaps just not interested in their future client base. There possibly could have been a little better dialogue and/or some kind of compromise is this situation”

“I have used Barnitts twice now and they are quite simply superb and very helpful. Their stock seems to be very competitively priced and after research I always come back to Barnitts for the best price and the best service. I have always had free delivery almost immediately after ordering. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this firm to you.”

“I am absolutely amazed at the delivery time, in fact my mother received the order on Saturday and then on Monday I received an email to say item had been despatched. Delivery was faster than sending an email! I'm very happy with the choice of products on offer on the website and have bookmarked your site and will definitely be using you again.”
