“We had been searching for a rustic small chest of drawers for the lounge.Our choice of reclaimed wood surprised me ,but it fits perfectly with our lounge furniture and has sorted an untidy corner.”

“Brought an ottoman bed in the sale and collected from the Teesside branch. We was greeted at the front door in a very welcoming manner then was met by another gentleman who took us to get our collection.We was in and out of the store within 10minutes no hassle no waiting around this was our first purchase from this store as we have just moved here. We was so thrilled with our purchase that we jumped back online and brought a ceiling light. Will definitely buy things from there in the future.”

“All our furniture ordered has now arrived, been unpacked and installed. Waited a while for everything but worth the wait. Very friendly and helpful staff all round, from purchase to delivery. Well packaged and as a result, no damage. Easy to assemble.”

“This is the second time I have ordered online from Barker and Stonehouse without even seeing the products beforehand. First time I was a little nervous about whether the quality would be as good in real life as in the pictures, but I wasn't disappointed. On both occasions I've been delighted with all the items purchased, they look and feel wonderful and are very good value for money. The customer service was excellent throughout, great communication and friendly people who went out of their way to make sure I received my purchases when I wanted them.”

“I recently bought a settee and two storage units from Barker and Stonehouse for my daughter?s new flat. We are very happy with the furniture and the services we received. The staff at the Nottingham store were very helpful and friendly. The delivery on a day we agreed went smoothly. The second storage unit I picked up from the warehouse (Nottingham). Again staff were very helpful.”

“From order to delivery this company have been excellent. Communication was really good, with emailed delivery information. Given a time slot and the company delivery driver called when they were about 20 minutes away. They arrived at the time they quoted. The delivery guys brought the furniture in to the house and placed where I wanted it which was great because it was really heavy. They put the legs on the table which unfortunately arrived with a dent on the side. No problem though, they sorted a replacement and delivered the following week allowing me to keep the damaged unit in the mean time. I was a bit wary of ordering without seeing the furniture in the flesh first, but couldn't be happier. Lovely solid walnut furniture - much better quality than I could have imagined and in the sale!”
