“We did not think we would like Barker and Stonehouse, we have always mainly shopped at a competitor (John L). Anyway, after buying a new home, that can only be described as a quirky conversion, we could not find any furniture that suited it (we needed to replace most of it) anyway after a reluctant visit to Barker and Stonehouse, we were delighted to find the sort of items we were looking for, the settee is superb quality and everyone who sits on it tells us how lovely it is. The bedroom furniture is of the same good quality, solid wood and comfortable, and we are waiting for some of our study furniture to be delivered. We still have items we would like to buy from the store but are taking it easy on the wallet for a few months! On top of the lovely furniture, the service in the newcastle store is first class, not pushy, and the back office staff are just as good, very efficient. They gave good after sales follow up and also after we purchased the study furniture it went on sale, they phoned us to tell us we could have a partial refund without us having to ask. We will be buying more items soon!”

“I'm in love with the sofa we bought! It's still looking good a few months later. Arrived with the legs of the sofa missing which was disappointing but Barker and Stonehouse were really helpful and sent some very quickly.”

“We ordered 2 counter chairs that arrived well packed and arrived within the quoted time. One of the chairs had a minor fault on the foot of one of the legs. B&S replaced the chair promptly with no quibble - excellent service.”

“Always a pleasure buying from Barker and Stonehouse - I love the Lund range. From order to collection orders have been processed smoothly and in good time. This time I had arranged to collect my table on Wednesday 26 May but then changed my work day so I was able to change and collect on Tuesday 25 instead. Staff at your warehouse in Middlesbrough were very helpful and I was only there about 5 minutes. Excellent service!”

“Happy from start to finish. Communication regarding delivery was clear. There was an added delay by a number of weeks due to COVID, which was disappointing, but that is not their fault. When the product arrived, they were perfect and I was happy!”

“I?ve got a beautiful table...ordering was easy. I was given a few choices of delivery dates, chose one, the table arrived at the time a on the date arranged. Delivered by two lovely helpful guys. What?s not to like. 5 stars.”
