“It was such a huge decision choosing a sofa for our sitting room. Lots of factors to take into consideration for example large enough for a family and pooch. Durable. Heard Wearing frame springs etc. Manufactured in GB. Quality of material. The perfect Colour ( and i am very fussy). We have the power nowadays of social Media and trust pilot for reviews and customer experiences which is fantastic to refer too. I did lots of homework and decided on the Barker & Stonehouse Harrington feather filled in a colour i chose not from the Harrington range. Customer Service were lovely nothing was an issue when i came into store to order armed with my own cushions/paint & material samples to match up with. Sofa was ordered. We were constantly kept in touch with until the sofa was delivered ( by 2 lovely helpful chaps called Wojciech & Cristian who went above and beyond) The sofa itself is incredible. The colour and the heavy duty feel of the velvet is fantastic. We sink into our giant sofa and can feel the quality. It does require daily plumping but thats the way i like it made with lovely lush feather inserts to sink into . I dont have a negative to list. We are over the moon from start to finish .”

“Bought two bar stools and a chair. The chair was too small and we returned. The stools are perfect thanks. Good quality and fair price. Lots of lovely furniture in their store and helpful staff.”

“Excellent service in store and when our new bed was delivered. Jon & Kyle (the delivery drivers) from the Middlesbrough depot went over and above what was needed. Absolutely brilliant customer service from them both and all with a smile too.”

“Julia who helped with buying our bed was very helpful as she always been over the past few years . Congratulations to her on her promotion to assistant manager at Leeds but we will miss her . I always sought her out for her cheerful straightforward nature and lack of “selling” just good advice helping you find the right product . She always seemed a genuine person without the sales pitch and this made you feel confident and ended I am sure giving her very good sales . Barker and Stonehouse are very lucky to have her as an employee”
