“I searched for weeks for a chest of drawers or table to put in the corner by my armchair. I finally the perfect one. And it was less than half the price of another one that would have done. “A copy of Barker & Stonehouse, Battersea SW11, Spring 2019 came into my possession quite by chance. Bringing back old memories of London I decided to look at the Catalogue. I saw a superb rug that I really liked and in a sale too. I phoned the Company and spoke to a really helpful lady called Georgie. She was superb. I went on to buy the item and absolutely love it. Even the telephone operators sound super in that Company, very polite, pleasant and make you glad you phoned. Hooked with the smaller rug I have now got back to Georgie and ordered a bigger one, making a second purchase. The patience and help offered was first class. I wish I needed more items to get the care and dedication I received at Barker and Stonehouse. I would definitely without doubt recommend the Staff and Service.”

“I was looking for a relaxing easy chair and eventually decided upon a Stressless swivel chair and footstool. After looking at several chairs in different outlets I decided upon the Dover Stressless from Barker and Stonehouse. This has been a wonderful investment as sometimes I find it difficult to get in the chair as other members of the family have beaten me to it. I would rate this chair with a full five stars.”

“Ordered a chest of drawers made of reclaimed wood and am very pleased with the service and the furniture itself. Barker and Stonehouse kept us well-informed about delivery progress and arranging a time for delivery. We very much appreciated the one-hour time slot for delivery so we didn't have to wait in all day, taking time away from work. The drawers we ordered are fabulous - incredibly sturdily made and a very stylish, eye-catching piece for the room. Couldn't be happier with our purchase.”

“Saw this three drawer cabinet in their showroom and liked it. Staff very helpful and nice. Later we decided we would like to buy it, but, due to being busy, could not get back to the shop. Ordering online was very straightforward, delivery quick and easy, and the filing cabinet is of good quality for the price. Would buy from Barker and Stonehouse again, as they do good quality furniture.”

“I ordered an item but on receipt of the item I found it had been wrongly advertised. I rang up and told them about their mistake and asked to speak to the CEO who got back in touch with me straight away and he had the web site altered within 24 hours to reflect the right description of the product that was for sale. Sadly it was not what I had wanted the material it was made from was advertised as Ceramic but when it arrived it was Fibre glass.”
