“Barker and Stonehouse is always our first choice when selecting furnishings for our home. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. They may be slightly more expensive than some retailers but the quality of furniture speaks for itself. If you have any issues its quickly rectified. Collection of good from store is swift and trouble free and Delivered items always arrive when they say with great staff to build the furniture and for a small fee they will take your old items away. Great company and I wish more stores offered the fantastic service they do. Highly recommended.”

“Excellent customer service. I ordered on line and have been kept up to date on the progress of my order. The on line staff have been fantastic in consolidating my order and unswervingly helpful when faced with much dithering on my part. “Great service, ordered online for click and collect in Hull. When we arrived our car was slightly too small, the staff were happy to hold it for us until later that day when we came back with a bigger car. Couldn't have asked for a more friendly and helpful team.”

“We saw this Rivington bench in the showroom and immediately loved it! It?s so comfortable ,and easy to keep clean which is essential with 2 young kids. The quilted pattern is really nice and the colour is just perfect. Already had nice comments from our first visitors to sit on the bench. It?s now the most popular seat in the house!”

“Purchased a dining bench after long search to find one the required length. Excellent quality and arrived promptly with great communication from Barker and Stonehouse. Was delighted to discover it came ready assembled and was delivered right to the dining table! Saving up now for bench cushions which I have seen on website and are the perfect size!”

“Generally we are very pleased with our Lund table, it is very practical for what we need and its simple unfussy look is what we wanted. It seats 10 very comfortably and 12 at a squeeze. We are on a tight budget and we think its a great price. But be warned, the table weighs a ton and we struggled to turn it upright after attaching the legs, you may need help lifting it. The leaves have to be stored separately so you need storage space for them when not in use. Otherwise, its great for the price!”

“A beautiful piece of furniture (a tallboy chest of drawers) which is nicely made and just what we wanted. Delivery took a while but we were kept up to date with potential delivery dates. The actual delivery was well organised, we received emails and phone calls and the team who delivered it were helpful while observing social distancing.”
