“We spoke to Jack Fleming, who listened to our request and very quickly supplied us with an itinerary. Everything went to plan and we had a really enjoyable trip. The accommodation was excellent especially the 3 in the traffic free streets which meant we were very close to the attractions ( albeit the room in Dubrovnik was very small} . All transfers were on time. Balkan Escape provided a day to day trip log and additional information which was very useful. We would definitely recommend them and look forward to using them in the future.”

“Dealing was Balkan Escape was a joy from the start. Jack was really interested in what I wanted from my trip and tailored everything to meet that. The price was very good, the service and communication was great and the holiday was excellent. The recommendations for day trips were also really helpful. The hotels were perfect and the transfers - so smart, punctual and polite. I didn’t have any issues with any thing but I feel sure that if I had Jack would have resolved it for me.”

“We were extremely impressed with our whole experience using Balkan Escape. Jack responded to our initial enquiry very promptly and provided an itemised suggested itinery based on our budget. Our holiday covered four different areas of Croatia and we were a little concerned how well this would work. However, Balkan Escape arranged all our taxi and ferry transfers, booked our accommodation and checked in our flights. They provided us with transfer vouchers and information of when and where we would be collcted and it all worked perfectly ! Thank you for a lovely stress free holiday. We will certainly be recommending them to our friends and family.”

“We wanted to explore Croatia by staying in 3 resorts. Balkan escapes sorted this perfectly, booking lovely hotels meeting our requirements eg. swimming pool/hot tub. The location of each hotel was ideal for exploring each city. The initial booking was thorough, including transfer from airport on arrival, transfer for collection of hire car, boarding passes and wonderful recommendations for activities in each location. These allowed us freedom to choose which ones suited us. Balkan Escapes warned of building work at one hotel which was out of their control and to be honest we were able to close the curtains and it didn't spoil our enjoyment at all. It was a wonderful stress free holiday and we would definitely recommend them.”

“From start to finish your service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. The information you gave us regarding flights, hotels and transfers was very clear. We would certainly use you again and wouldn't hesitate to to recommend you. There is only one thing that I would like to discuss. That is the Aminess Korcula Heritage hotel. It was a lovely hotel in an excellent position. Friendly staff and lovely dining room. The main problem was that there was no lift. There were 51 steps to our room. There were no bedrooms on floors below us. Perhaps that should be made clear in your suggestions of hotels. The bathroom was very small too. Thank you for making our trip to Croatia a lovely hassle free holiday.”

“From initial contact to the end of the holiday everything went as planned. The flights, transfers and accommodation were all excellent, on time and efficient taking any worries away. A triathlon in Kotor on the day of our return closed the main road. Jack from Balkan contacted us and made alternative arrangements to get us to the airport on time. “We enjoyed a 3 centre Croatia holiday over 18 days. Balkan Escapes listened to my brief and preferences and put together an excellent itinerary. The holiday worked seamlessly - the hotels were exactly as expected - the airport transfers were great quality, on time, polite, and friendly. The transfers by high speed ferries worked perfectly. “We had a great holiday in Split, Zadar and Hvar. We also managed to visit the national parks at Plitvice and Krka. It was all really interesting and enjoyable. All the organisation of the holiday was excellent and the arrangements in Croatia went as planned with one exception. We were double booked in the hotel in Hvar and were upgraded to a five star hotel! The service was very good and we would recommend the company to others.”
