“We have just arrived back from a 3-centre holiday in Croatia (Zadar, Split and Brac) organised by Balkan Escape. The service was excellent from beginning to end. Balkan Escape helped us choose the locations, organised all the accommodation and arranged the transfers. They really looked after us in all aspects of the holiday planning, even keeping us informed of last-minute changes in our flight timing and schedule. We had a fantastic time and really valued the local knowledge and experience provided by Balkan Escape. We would definitely use Balkan Escape again and would highly recommend the company to friends and family.”

“We recently had a trip to Croatia and we used Balkan service. They were very helpful arranging an itinerary suitable to our budget. The selection was excellent and gave us a couple of hotel choices for each destination. All the hotels were brilliant and location were within a very comfortable distance to centre. All transfers were puntual and very friendly. The service of Balkan was exceptional, the replied to my emails very promptly answering any questions or doubts that I had. “Wow, what an amazing holiday we had in a beautiful Country. I would like to thank the team at Balkan Escapes for putting the package together for us. We stayed in Split, Hvar and Korcula. The holiday certainly lived up to our expectations. All the hotels suited our requirements and we loved all three places for different reasons. “Excellent communication and customer service, Heather rearranged our itinerary a few times to suit ourchosen dates and places and Jack Fleming pulled out all the stops to accommodate us when one of group didn't know until the very last minute if he could travel due to health reasons. We spent 4 nights in Dubrovnik, well equipped 2 bed self catering apartment, mini market 1 minute walk, 5 mins to very good bus service to Old Town. Fast ferry from Dubrovnik to Split, arranged by Balkan Escapes for 6 nights in The Marvie Hotel.Very nice hotel with lovely rooftop pool and bar and indoor swimmimg pool, gym, sauna etc in lower floor. Staff, rooms, restaurant and bars all very nice, 6 euros Uber to Old Town and Port . A small local harbour & beach very close by with a few nice bars & restaurants. Private Airport transfers were on time at Dubrovnik and Split in smart Mercedes minibus. All API,boarding passes, hotel and tranfer vouchers all done by Balkan Escapes. Overall a great holiday, good value for money and brilliant service from Balkan Escapes.”

“What a fantastic travel company. I stumbled across Balkan Escape online whilst searching for a Croatian holiday, what a stroke of luck, both Jacks were incredibly helpful and put together a perfect itinerary for Split and Cavtat. They even managed to seamlessly change my transfer from Split to Cavtat whilst on holiday as I had changed my mind and asked for a taxi transfer instead of a ferry , this was organised within 24 hours! Thank you. We had a fabulous holiday in great hotels, transfers were on time , we were checked in and boarding passes provided - amazing service and friendly staff, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Balkan Escape!”

“The service provided by Jack from the outset was excellent. We told him of our particular needs and requirements and he put together a two centre holiday for us which could not have been better. He suggested resorts, hotels and excursions, all of which were entirely to our likeing and met or exceeded expectations. Jack arranged every aspect of the holiday, sent it for our consideration and would have been happy to make any changes we requested. He checked us in for our flights and arranged special assistance. We received boarding passes and vouchers for car hire and the hotels. Everything worked like clockwork and we could not have had better service. Jack provided emergency contact details both in and out of hours, which was reassuring. We would most certainly use Balkan Escapes again. Thanks you for such excellent service.”

“Excellent service and support from Balkan Escapes. Booked a holiday to Split, Brac & Hvar. Very helpful from the initial enquiry, suggesting a range of hotels and various price points and suggestions of things to do in my itinerary. Recommending properties I probably wouldn't have considered, which were excellent. Accommodation was all as described and the additional information on location and whether to get Taxis from the ferry ports was appreciated. Attention to detail from Jack was spot on throughout the process. During my trip one of my ferry transfers was cancelled and they booked me onto another crossing and organised onward travel to my hotel, all before I even knew there was an issue. I had a fantastic holiday in three beautiful locations and would recommend to anyone travelling to this area and will use again, when hopefully, I go back to explore more.”

“This is our second holiday with Balkan Escape and both times we have had wonderful holidays. Our first trip was isalnd hopping with stays at 4 different places and our last trip was a 2 centre trip on the mailnland coast. They provide tailor made itineraries at a very reasonable cost. Jack gave us advice based on our interests about where to stay and for how long. He was happy to discuss and modify the first draft of the itinereary with choices of hotels and rooms etc. All the arrangements worked perfectly with transfers always on time, late arrival at hotels organised etc. We will be booking with Balkan Escape again in the knowledge that they will provide us with an interesting and well planned trip.”

Following a fabulous trip to Dubrovnik and Korcula last September we decided to book an early summer holiday to Slovenia and Trieste. “Just returned from a week in Croatia. Balkan escapes have been amazing throughout the process. A special mention to Heather, who was the most patient and helpful travel agent I have experienced, Heather met all my requirements, offered valuable advice and gave me lots of options based on our discussions. The choices of location, hotels etc. were perfect. Transfers were seamless between locations. Jack provided a detailed summary of my booking, including all dates/times, which was great to have in one email before I travelled. I would highly recommend and would most definitely use Balkan escapes in the future.”
