“First rate service from Jack at Balkan Escape. From calling back at the appointed times, to taking on board everything we wanted for our holiday, the attention to detail was exceptional. Everything was very smooth (booking, communication, paperwork, all transfers) and our accommodations were exactly as expected (stunning seaview from out Dubrovnik apartment - definitely worth the bit extra). I've already recommended Balkan Escape to several people & we would definitely use them again if we go back to the area. Many thanks Jack for our superb holiday!”

“We had a fantastic holiday to Split, Brac and Hvar arranged by Balkan Escapes, everything from the airport transfers, hotels and ferry transfers ran smoothly. Cannot fault the level of service provided from all at Balkan Escapes and nothing was too much trouble when helping plan an itinary, a range of accomodation was proposed for us to choose from and any changes dealt with efficiently. It was niced to have someone look out for us when a ferry was cancelled due to windy weather an alternative was arranged and tickets emailed promptly. I would definately book with Balkan Escapes again and would not hesitate to reccomend to family and friends.”

“I contacted Jack and the team at Balkan Escape after deciding on a holiday to Croatia but struggling to find an itinerary that would suit everyone going. Jack was extremely helpful and quickly found us something suitable at a very reasonable price. The holiday involved several pre-arranged transfers which were all seamless and the hotels were brilliant. We loved the locations and would definitely recommend Balkan Escape to anyone.”

“We had a fabulous holiday with Balkan Escape. The holiday was tailored to our needs and we really liked that we were given three hotel choices at each resort. The hotels were all really good. We had a lovely rooms , two with stunning views ,one at Lake Bled and one in Piran. The transfers were always early and the drivers, polite and helpful. It was really helpful to have suggestions of activities for our time in each place. We hired bikes in Lake Bled and Piran and there is a good infrastructure for cyclists. It would have been useful to know that the popular restaurants in Ljubljana get booked up at least a week before as we could have booked them in advance. We will definitely use Balcon Escapes again, and we’ve already recommended them to our friends and family.”

“Great holiday to Croatia (Rovinj, Zadar and Split) with Balkan Escape. Especially loved the hotel in Rovinj, the Villa Tuttorotto. The staff were incredibly hospitable and gracious and our bedroom had a stunning view of the harbour. Private transfers were superb. Friendly drivers, always on time. The whole experience of giving Jack at Balkan Escape our budget and where we wanted to visit to completing the trip was easy and most enjoyable. Croatia is a beautiful country and Balkan Escape has the knowledge and experience to deliver the perfect holiday. Would totally recommend.”

“We have had a brilliant second trip to Croatia. Cannot rate the Princ heritage rooms enough the proximity to the local sights was brilliant, sitting in the square listening to the music every night and the breakfast at Bokeria kitchen and wine was amazing. We then moved on to a second trip to Dubrovnik this time we got to experience the evenings there. Food at Lady Pi Pi was lovely with great company and views of the city. Our last stop was Hotel Bozica, the perfect place to switch off and relax, saying that we did go for a walk across the island and we also managed a couple of runs in the scorching heat! The food and service there is fabulous, the staff are a credit to the hotel. We will be returning as there is a lot more that Croatia has to offer.”

“3 did a three centre holiday and everything ran like clockwork. Very well organised by Balkan Escapes. Hotels all good. Transfers and ferry connections well planned. Special mention to Jack at Balkan Escapes who put the itinerary together and sorted a problem when a ferry was cancelled due to weather. Fully recommend”

“Travel, car hire and accommodation choices were very good - especially the small hotels. Advice at time of booking was comprehensive. Nothing to fault, and everything went to schedule. Car was via Enterprise, this was perfectly fine but had clearly a lack of care from previous hirers judging from the many marks all over!”

“As the holiday was booked in less than two weeks to the actual departure date, the speed at which everything was done was impressive. Jack was extremely helpful and advised on areas such as how long it would take to walk to the port? Full of knowledge and very helpful. We also tried to speak to the local number for the room unlock in Split but they didn't answer a call or whats app. Fortunately we rang Balkan in the UK and Jack answered who passed us on to a nice lady who had stayed at the premises prior to us arriving. Sorted. Once in we were very pleasantly surprised with the interior which had been renovated. It is annoying when you are given contact details for the local contact and they dont even answer the call or reply to a message. Waste of time. They must realise that new tennants are arriving and be available. Hotel in Dubrovnik was also nice. No problems there. Only issue was Plane was delayed by an hour or so so arrived home rather late.”
