“I have purchased the holders to fit Porsche 996, Porsche 997 a mini cooper and a c class, every time the fit is perfect giving a no rattle. Is a solid phone mount. I advise the Magsafe dock - its a perfect fit for the genuine apple Magsafe charger which looks good and holds onto your phone.”

“I bought the clip for a 2021 Skoda Fabia, over the central air vents in the dashboard. It's installed ok, but there are some issues: 1. It wasn't clear from the web site that you need to buy TWO parts - one to fit the sat nav, and another to fit the car. 2. Joining the two parts with screws is a very clunky solution. I had to use a powered screwdriver to tighten the screws, and they now penetrate through the clip, leaving sharp points that can catch unwary fingers. This might be necessary to ensure a good join, but you should include sticky pads to cover the screw points - or device a better solution for connecting the two parts. 3. Fitting the clip onto the car was not easy, and it appears to be a little too short, despite being the correct clip for a 2021 Fabia. This means that the clip is now under continual tension, and the plastic trim around the air vents under continual compression. I'm concerned that over time one or the other (or both) will crack or break. The clip can be easily replaced; however, fixing a cracked trim is likely to be expensive. 4. The continual tension means that there is no need to use the included adhesive strips. I would have preferred a longer clip, held in place by a strip of adhesive near the bottom.”

Thank you for taking the time to review your order. Brodit is a two part solution, a vehicle specific mounting Proclip and a device specific holder/mount, the two items are required to form the full solution, this is advertised on our website and again upon checkout. All Brodit items are design to fit with ease with only a screwdriver required, unfortunately the use of powertools may have overtightended the self tapping screws causing the screws to protrude through the vehicle Proclip. All vehicle Proclips are designed to be mounted under tension, it is the tension once fitted that ensures they are securely mounted in place. “Based in Ireland I always try to order online from European websites, and avoid UK sites since Brexit. I was unable to find an EU source so placed my order with your site. As expected, I had a card from An Post notifying me that I owed duty and tax on my purchase, which I paid that day. Delivery took a further two days. I'm sure you offer an efficient service within the UK, but it would help your non-UK customers if you offered an EU-based website for the products.”

Thank you for your review. The charges incured are for collection of VAT in the destination county. You will note on our website that all product prices quoted are inclusive of VAT, at checkout when entering your delivery address details and in selecting Ireland as the country of delivery, the website re-calculates the product costs to EX VAT pricing, a notice is shown to advise you that your prices have been re-calculate EX VAT and that VAT will be collected in the destination county. “I have used Brodit products for the last 10years. In my Saab, Touran and Tiguan. I originally used the holders for a TomTom but now an iPhone. It was a must have product when my daughter passed her driving test and recently purchased for her boyfriend. Solid, sturdy and so much better than the cheap air-vent clips and windscreen suction pods!”

“The Brodit Proclip is the best way of providing a solid, flat surface onto which a phone/GPS/tablet cradle can be securely mounted. Suitable cradles can be obtained from Brodit, or from third parties which provide screw-on mountings which match the screw-hole pattern of the Proclip. My only criticism is that Brodit provides neither mounting screws nor the type/size/length requirements of suitable screws, leaving this important detail up to the purchaser.”
