It's massive & stops the captain's chair in our campervan turning. Using the bracket but with a much neater quad lock.

The central mount for a Mazda 2 is extremely difficult to installt, and when in place does not fit at all well Very poor design

I'm a great fan of Brodit equipment, however, the bracket for my Jaguar XK didn't really fit, I was having to put it under so much tension that the bottom adhesive simply wasn't strong enough.

Most Babel products are excellent and well thought out. I have purchased over 15 brackets over the years and am usually very pleased with them. Unfortunately this particular mount for the Mercedes GLE I believe could have been better thought out. It fixes to the A post on the car and in doing so creates a massive blind spot. I’m afraid I will be looking at quad locks proposition in the future.

I bought the clip for a 2021 Skoda Fabia, over the central air vents in the dashboard. It's installed ok, but there are some issues: 1. It wasn't clear from the web site that you need to buy TWO parts - one to fit the sat nav, and another to fit the car. 2. Joining the two parts with screws is a very clunky solution. I had to use a powered screwdriver to tighten the screws, and they now penetrate through the clip, leaving sharp points that can catch unwary fingers. This might be necessary to ensure a good join, but you should include sticky pads to cover the screw points - or device a better solution for connecting the two parts. 3. Fitting the clip onto the car was not easy, and it appears to be a little too short, despite being the correct clip for a 2021 Fabia. This means that the clip is now under continual tension, and the plastic trim around the air vents under continual compression. I'm concerned that over time one or the other (or both) will crack or break. The clip can be easily replaced; however, fixing a cracked trim is likely to be expensive. 4. The continual tension means that there is no need to use the included adhesive strips. I would have preferred a longer clip, held in place by a strip of adhesive near the bottom.

Brodit is a two part solution, a vehicle specific mounting Proclip and a device specific holder/mount, the two items are required to form the full solution, this is advertised on our website and again upon checkout. All Brodit items are design to fit with ease with only a screwdriver required, unfortunately the use of powertools may have overtightended the self tapping screws causing the screws to protrude through the vehicle Proclip. All vehicle Proclips are designed to be mounted under tension, it is the tension once fitted that ensures they are securely mounted in place. The option to fit a phone holder in a Range Rover 2016 is limited to 2 poor choices. The phone holder is level with the gears. This can get in the one way when selecting 1st gear, why is there no options to fit one on top of the dash or on the side of the vehicle?

Good fitting instructions & does fit very well. No sticky cable little clips included like Nextbase camera supply but spares of those to hand. Would have given 5stars but for the price which is way over the top (IMO) and comms after ordering was very poor.

The mounting is lovely and clean. The phone holder itself is fine, but beware that "adjustable" doesn't mean you can (easily) use it for different phones - there's a screw you're supposed to tighten to leave in a particular setting. A bit basic for £100 (I've got the wireless charging version, which I'll assume works perfectly for this review, but haven't tried it yet). It sort of lets you adjust it if you don't tighten the screw all the way, but it's awkward. It's strange how each Brodit holder is dedicated to one device only - there are two people driving our car, each with a different phone. I hate to leave a low review, I have a positive view of the company, e.g. I love how they have dedicated mounts for different cars, but the holder I ended up with isn't quite what I hoped for, maybe I just chose the wrong one.

Bit disappointed with my mount, the quality of the product is fine but possibly not the manufacturing, the phone when mounted points slightly away to the passenger side which is a little annoying, it should at least be flat or pointing towards the driver to offer the correct viewing angle.. not great

The product and customer service are great, but hopelessly let down by their carrier, Evri. An order placed on 10th December was with Evri from then until they confessed on 28th December that they'd lost the parcel. Babol immediately offered to send a replacement by a different carrier and it arrived the next day. I hope that Babol will change the carrier they use...
