“I love this company. The products that I have bought, whether that be topsoil or bulk bags of decorative gravel, have been delivered promptly and placed wherever I have asked. The products themselves are also of great quality. They are courteous and also offer free delivery. They have been perfect for all of my garden projects and I will be using them again when I have another building project coming up.”

“Ordered turf which was delivered really quickly and of very good quality. I only needed a small amount and most online sites have a minimum order but AWBS did not so that was really good service. The turf is growing well and looks great”

“Brilliant product at a very good price. What a shame that the delivery driver was very unhelpful dumping the bag as far away from the rockery as he possibly could. He was very objectionable and rude and would not cooperate with the chap here accepting the delivery and totally ignored any request to put it any closer. Our chap here was phoning us to ask where we wanted it put, but the driver just dumped it saying he was is a hurry and 10 minutes later we saw him parked in a lay-by eating a MacDonalds.”

Like many businesses, we are experiencing unprecedented demand combined with national supply chain issues caused by the pandemic. Our staff are under a great deal of pressure and the volume they are dealing with means that it is sometimes not possible to grant specific delivery requests. We also acknowledge that on this occasion we have not managed to provide our usual high standard of customer service. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and assure you that we are trying to do our best for customers. “AWBS provided an excellent service from quote (done by Brian) to completion of the project. The quote was competitive and was completed to an excellent standard by Tom and Scott (56m2 of porcelain paving and 34m2 of sandstone paving). Tom kept me informed and involved with all decisions. Both of them took an obvious pride in their work. I now have a stunning patio for summer, thank you. Naomi provided excellent and efficient accounts support. A very friendly team.”

“Unfortunately I've got to join the multiple other people who has had the misfortune to encounter the rude staff at AWBS Oxford. I've used them a few times and staff have been a bit hit and miss, sometimes helpful sometimes rude. Unfortunately they excelled themselves recently after telling me they had put items aside to collect I made the journey to find they had sold them without explanation. The staff member completely uninterested and rude bordering on aggressive. Refused to take any responsibility or apologise because it was 'just turf'. Felt a bit like dealing with a petulant child. Mistakes happen but being rude and unhelpful is harder to justify. I try to support a local business where possible but there are plenty other more professional companies that will be getting my business.”
