“I feel I must write to praise the company Autoreserve (https://www.autoreservejaguar.com) who supplies Jaguar parts, new, second hand and reconditioned. I ordered an upper wishbone with bushes and ball joint fitted for my 1999 3.2L Jaguar XJ8. When it arrived, I visited a friend who had a car ramp in his garage. I took the old wishbone off and went to fit the reconditioned wishbone. Unfortunately, one of the bushes was slightly offset. This prevented the fulcrum bolt from entering the wishbone. I got in touch with Andy from Autoreserve on a Sunday and he arranged for the part to be collected by DHL on Monday. The replacement part was returned to me within 48 hrs. The communication between me and Andy was first class and I really can’t fault the service. The issue with the bush was not readily apparent so I don’t blame Autoreserve for this. It’s not often that suppliers are given enough credit and I would certainly recommend this company to other owners of classic & modern classic needing Jaguar parts.”

“Auto Reserve we’re very good throughout my purchase. However the delivery company used by AR was appalling. I ended up being charged for lift time (car on a garage repair lift for more time than allocated) because the item was delivered over 24hrs late, my car could not be moved because the delayed item was integral to getting it moving under its own power. As I’ve stated, AR were superb but I won’t be using them again if they still employ DHL, unless I absolutely need the part and cannot get it anywhere else.”

Hi Daniel, We are sorry that the item cost of just over £2 was very expensive. We are not aware of anywhere else that supplies these at a lower price than us, but if we can ever source them for a lower price ourselves then we will ofcourse pass this saving on to our customers. Regarding the postage, we do offer a lower price delivery service also but I can see you opted for the faster, recorded service at £2.75 to receive the goods quicker.
