“I was very pleased with my purchase from Ashwood nurseries. I ordered 2 plants and they arrived astonishingly quickly (next day). They were packaged well and were very healthy when they arrived. The only disappointing part of my interaction was the eye watering delivery charge - this was less disappointing when it arrived next day but had I waited the 10 days it says it could take then I would have felt hard done by.”

“I ordered two Chamaecyparis Chilworth Silver in 5 litre pots. They arrived very promptly, packed robustly. I was very impressed by the quality of the plants. The foliage is 50 cm tall, ie a good size for a slow growing conifer. The roots needed a little teasing out, but were certainly not pot-bound. Excellent value at £45 for the two including shipping. On this purchase, I would strongly recommend Ashwood Nurseries. (I also recommend Chilworth Silver for its columnar growth and attractive blue-green foliage, a great conifer for a narrow, sunny spot.)”

“I recently ordered my wife a copy of John Massey's book "My World of Hepaticas" as a wedding anniversary gift. Only after I had placed the order somebody kindly told me I could have had a dedication in the book. I emailed Ashwood, on a Sunday, and got a response within hours. The book arrived three days later, signed by the Author and my dedication written in, perfect, thank you!!”

“Love your nursery, also great to see plants in John's garden available in the nursery. Staff go out of their way to help. We travel from Wiltshire to this nursery because we can get ideas from John's garden that can be incorporated in our own garden. Love the place”
