“Plants were of an excellent quality and assortment (I went for an alpine selection). Daffodil bulbs were fine but the irises were infested with bulb mites, soft and going mouldy. Quick refund given for the items so no complaints there. Disappointed after always having 5* experiences in the past, but then we're all human. Won't deter me from ordering plants in the future.”

“My Weigela arrived well supported in its box and very healthy. My only quibble is that I had sent in an email asking to be notified when the plant would be back in stock but this hadn’t happened. By chance I accessed the website and saw the plant was in stock. But I am pleased with the service on the whole.”

“Plants arrived quickly , excellent packing. Hydrangea perfect ,lovely good sized healthy plant. Viburnam rather dry and a bit potbound but i gave it a good soak. It wouldn't win a beauty contest having mottled and dry leaves but will be fine .”

“Ashwood has been very good about communicating promptly, answering questions, notifying me when plants are available and sending out orders incredibly fast. Slightly less happy about the plants when they arrived. They looked healthy and sturdy but one was potbound and the other was sprouting from the root stock. But these are small points on the whole.”

“Full of expectation for a beautiful auricula display next spring. Postage costs to the Isle of Man were extortionate so arranged postage to UK & immediate onward transmission to IoM at fraction of the cost.”

“Delivery was rapid and the plants were packed well. Lewisia columbiana and Lewisia pygmaea are delightful and have settled in well; Lewisia nevadensis was not looking too bright on arrival and is now looking quite sick, so that's disappointing. Looking forward to seeing how the other two develop over the next couple of years.”

“Great quality plants. Delivery took a while due to a slight order mix up but once rectified all went very well with quick delivery. Ashwood deducted cost of one plant as compensation for the delay. Very welcome and appreciated. will use them again.”
