“I have been poorly for sometime, with very limited strength it has been difficult to do much in the garden, but studying your website has been a real joy. Luckily it was sometime before I noticed you provide a mail order service. My finances are very straightened but I have several friends who delight in the plants they have from your nursery. And I retain cheering memories of John Massey's garden lectures. I was very impressed by your staff, my address was checked and the plants dispatched with impressive promptness. Unfortunately they were delivered to a neighbour, who had to place my parcel horizontally on the seat of her car to get them to me. This is frustrating as I imagined that I had verified my address but not as infuriating as the delivery company who told me that they could not deliver as I was not at home, when I was at home and barely able to struggle from my bed. The plants were very careful prepared for their journey, I found I had a bit of a struggle to unpack them, any damages will have been caused by my feeble attempt to remove them from the box. The quality of service has been excellent, from first glimpse at your website to eventually getting the treasures out of the box. The hardest part was limiting my purchase to three plants. And of course I feel deprived I didn't get to your wonderful tearoom for Elevenses, Lunch or Afternoon Tea. I may have to order something from Meg Rivers cake, Bettys, Yorkshire and Golden Monkey Teas, Smith St., Warwick, or Monsoon illinois coffee. Perhaps you could provide links to their websites? Thank you again for making shopping so simple.”

“I have placed several orders and am pleased with the condition of plants received and the speed of delivery. My purchased Anemone Pavonina seeds have germinated and will accompany the raised plants that I also purchased. Certain plants I was only able to find raised and in stock at this nursery.”

“Very good, easy access website. Reasonable price for a pot grown tree. Lovely specimen but smaller than I anticipated. I expect accuracy is very difficult to achieve given it’s a living plant where growth rates vary. Good packaging, recyclable. Prompt delivery with prompts via text. Would buy from this nursery again.”

“Really pleased with the lovely hebe we bought from you. Easy to order, quick to arrive. Although the outside of the box it arrived in was crushed on one side, the packing design stabilised the plantpot in the centre of the box and so protected the plant well. Will certainly buy more plants from you in the future! Thanks”

“I recently ordered a starter collection of Lewisias for my alpine house. The delivery was very prompt and the plants arrived beautifully packed in very good condition. I have now had them for over a week and they are flourishing. I will not hesitate to order further plants from your nursery when I need them.”

“Massively impressed. Good prices and good stock. Online plant orders can be fraught. The stock choice is itself fresh, and the plants - even in winter mode - look strong and well developed. Lots of plastic packing - which is a shame, hopefully they’ll read this and adjust things (This Is industry wide to be fair) - that part aside the packing was really well thought out. Simple reuseable garden sticks to stop too much trashing in transit, and a cardboard box. Already on my second order with them this season alone.”
