“I received an e-mail recently one evening advising a plant on my wishlist was back in stock. However, when I tried to order it the following afternoon it was no longer in stock. I had a query about some other plants I was ordering and rang the nursery. Whilst talking to the extremely helpful assistant with my query, I mentioned my surprise at how quickly the newly stocked plant was sold out already. I was asked which plant it was and when told, the assistant said she had taken them off the website as they had very nearly all gone but if I ordered one online now she would ensure it was included with the rest of my order. Delivery was made in five days including a weekend with the plants packed extremely well and in fine condition. Well done.”

“I ordered some winter Heather from a large selection. Plants arrived within a few days (much faster than expected) in good condition. No frills packaging (brilliant recycling) just excellent plants at amazingly good prices. Would highly recommend and will absolutely use again.”

“My wanted rose was out of stock but signed ip for the now in stock email which promptly arrived within 2 weeks. Rose dispatched & arrived promptly. Little issue with the courier delivery method but not any fault of ashwood nurseries. Happy with the plants, packaging & condition.”

“Quick, easy, here in a couple of days. Also impressed, as item well packed in a secondhand cardboard box and newspaper. Only the outer covering was plastic. Well done. Recycling at its best. .”

“Quick reliable no fuss service, have shopped online with Ashwood twice and the quality of plants has been very good, the last order I made were winter collection heather plants and Im not sure they were what I actually ordered but the plants that were sent to me were satisfactory, large and well established and all different varieties and Im hoping even if they dont give much colour over the winter they will flourish next year, they still look very interesting planted up although not in full flower. The plants arrived very quickly and were excellently packed and all arrived undamaged, very often Ive taken delivery of a pile of plants in the bottom of a box all broken and useless, so it shows with a bit of care and thought it can be done even though I live many miles from where Ashwood are situated. I would recommend and certainly use this nursery again.”

“Plants were received in very good condition and incredibly well packaged. I cannot fault the nursery at all, having used many mail order nurseries over the years, the quality of the plants and the packaging is far better than most I have used. My only criticism is with the delivery firm, who failed to turn up on the specified date, though claimed to have attempted a delivery late that night, and arrived a day later.”
