“I was very impressed by the healthy-looking, bushy eleagnus which arrived, promptly and beautifully packaged. My only tiny comment (not a criticism!) is that, as the box was marked to be opened from the base, it would have been helpful if the planting instructions were also at the base. But thank you, Ashwood Nurseries - I'm delighted with my purchase!”

“There was a problem with my order,I rang and it was quickly and easily rectified.I really felt the staff wanted to help me out.Delivery was SUPER QUICK,and my camellia plant arrived in beautiful condition.I would definitely use them again.”

“I was delighted with the service and quality of the plants from Ashwood Nurseries. I was interested in buying the starter collection of Auriculas and was contacted when they were in stock. Easily ordered on line they arrived beautifully packaged and are healthy, sturdy plants. I will have no hesitation in ordering again from this nursery.”

“A slightly disappointing experience sadly. The plants that arrived were beautifully grown and well packaged. Two were without labels but as they were Hellebores or Cyclamen it wasn't difficult to sort that out. Not good though. One of the Hellebores I ordered specifically because it is described by , virtually, all sources ,including Ashwood, as being strongly fragrant. This one wasn't, not even in a cold greenhouse, which was disappointing at nearly £18 a pot. I contacted customer Services and ,basically was told that I was wrong. I replied but had no further communication. As an ex nurseryman I appreciate that all seed grown plants can vary and scent is one such variable. Helleborus foetidus Miss Jekyll is one that can be scented or not. My point being that if you pride yourself on growing "the Best Hellebores" (and they are lovely plants) and they are seed grown - I don't know if they are hand polinated - then mention should be made of the potential for variation, i.e the plant you receive may not look/smell like its description. I do think that there are aspects of the business that could be reviewed and maybe altered. To keep hellebores true to type normally requires vegetative propagation. They are notoriusly promiscuous. Would I buy again ? Probably but with reservations.”

“Excellent service with Ashwood Nurseries. I was looking for red camilias which at the moment are not that easy to find. I came across Ashwood Nurseries who did have what I was looking for, so I ordered two red camilias which were delivered within the delivery time given and they are beautiful plants. Would definitely recommend Ashwood Nurseries and they will be my first choice for any future plants I may be looking for. Definitely deserves 5 stars.”

“I am delighted with the three hellebores I have received from Ashwood (two were birthday presents and one I purchased direct). All three were sizeable and really lovely plants - they were well packaged and arrived quickly. They now look happy in our garden and I look forward to seeing them grow in future years. They are more expensive than other nurseries but well worth it for the quality.”
