“I've been shopping with Approved Food for over 5 years and I am never disappointed with the goods they send me. I have saved nearly £3000 - yes, £3000 shopping with them. Everything is excellent value for money, Approved Food help me balance the books when it comes to living on a tight budget. They offer a wide variety of choice with regard to food and drink, and excellent value for money when it comes to household goods, like brand name soap powder (Persil/Ariel) much cheaper than any supermarket. I couldn't manage without Approved Food. Thank you Dan and your team!”

“They have a good range of goods and so far have never been out of stock with any of my order. I had a delivery problem a couple of months ago and this was dealt with quickly , the chap dealing with this kept me updated along the way. The stock is good quality and just as described. No hidden extra costs just delivery. I will be returning whenever I need to restock my pantry.”

“Approved food is one of the best companies I have ever come across! The very idea of it is superb, taking food that would otherwise be wasted and using it. “Very easy to shop and good prices. Quick delivery, and great that you can track your delivery throughout. Really happy with my purchases. Sometimes the product descriptions aren't completely clear but overall a really positive shopping experience with some great savings, and I'll certainly use Approved Food again.”

We specialise in surplus and short-dated stock, food that is either near or just passed its 'best before' date, but still perfectly safe to consume – allowing us to pass on huge savings to our customers. “Bargain food that is near to or just passed its date. It's still edible and has encouraged me to try different foods! Snacks taste so much better when they are a bargain. Only thing is courier will not deliver on Saturday so orders need picking up from depot as I work all week.”

“Happy with my orders as I've ordered more than once. Sometimes doesn't work out cheaper than the high street but other times it does. Also when you have liquids i.e. Washing liquid or detergents they need to be packaged better as on more than one occasion they've leaked over everything else I've ordered.”
