“Excellent website, easy to navigate. Have noticed the prices getting higher, but as a long time user I was around when the lucky boxes were 1p! Very good for snack food, and worth checking everyday as sometimes a real bargain pops up. Just need the 'powers that be' to check shop prices before pricing their items, sometimes they are the same or even more than shop prices for product close to, or over their best before date.”

“I love using Approved Food and the delivery is very quick, being disabled I can get all my bulky items so that I don’t have to rely on someone taking me shopping. However I do have one issue I did my order but when I got to check and paid I noticed that some of the items where missing and I really needed them so I contacted customer services and asked if they could be added to my order Iand I would send the extra money by PayPal and they said they couldn’t help me! So maybe it’s time they looked into this side of things as I am sure I am not the only one this has happened too.”

“Have ordered regularly for some time and generally am pleased with my order. Have once or twice had issues with packing, but mostly ok. Would prefer it if items were packed with less plastic - old paper, such as newspapers could be used instead...”

“Had my latest delivery from Approved Foods and it arrived amazingly quickly. I do like to “rush my order” facility. Luckily everything arrived with no problems this time. So very happy! I always recommend Approved Foods but it’s not for everyone. I have no problem using things close to their use by dates or expired but some people do. It’s a shame as you can save oodles of money!”

“Approved for is great. The only issue was the delivery driver. A piece of paper left without any indication where my delivery was left, or if it was returned to a depot.”

“Been using Approved Food for a few years now. Lots of bargains available. Free delivery when you spend a threshold amount. The stock varies so I tend to keep an eye in for when they have lots of things I like and then nab them. Sometimes there are problems, but they always refund with no quibbling. I would definitely recommend.”

“I have had smashed jars and jars with lids not on properly therefore no longer edible. Tins have on occasion been dented but on the whole its a good idea and I save a lot of money over the year. Approved foods have credited me for damaged jars on the one occasion I informed them which was great.”
