“Although there's frequently an item missing from my order there is never a problem with a refund of even the smallest amount. The customer service team are courteous, helpful and prompt. If only the items I discover I like were available when next I make an order, but that's just not the nature of Approved Foods. If only I had the courage to order the fish in a cool box. Doe anyone else have first hand experience to comment on?”

“Lots of great items which are either close to or past their best before date, which means they are safe to eat but may have lost a little of their flavour although I have never found their products to be anything but the same as in date items. There is a huge assortment of brands and new items and offers are available daily with lots of chances for immense bargains e.g. once I got a case of Heinz Squeeze and Stir Soups for 1p! There have been the odd things that I've not liked once I've tried them but that's the same for any food product you buy and I feel better about it knowing that I've not paid full price for the product only to have to give it away.”

“Even though I am situated in Germany, I often shop at Approved Food. I make the best use of reduced delivery costs promotions, lucky box offers etc. They deliver fast, are reliable and offer very good and personal customer service, if any problems should arise (I very, very rarely had a case of mixed items). Contrary to the shop's description, many, many items on sale have a still very long best-before-date in the distant future and still offer a very good bargain. I enjoy their wide variety of products from all over Europe on offer. But, being from Germany, I especially enjoy the opportunity of buying UK products. I couldn't be more satisfied. I love Approved Food, and especially their personal approach, with Dan, the funder and owner so actively involved.”

“The website was very quick and easy to use, and the delivery service was second to none. The items we ordered were of good quality and all consumable. Wish there was an app on the app store to make the ordering even quicker, will definitely use them again”

“Overall very pleased with how it was packed and quality of items. The lucky dip box was very random but for a £1.00 you really can't go wrong, although one item we had to search what it was as it wasn't written in English and couldn't tell what the item was. Would definitely buy again.”
