“Overall very pleased. Great bargains and some unusual items. Occasionally disappointed with Size/weight so check this when ordering as photos can be deceiving. Although there no intention to deceive as the info is there.”

“Had a lucky box for the first time. Very happy with contents. A bar of chocolate in there (in date) was about the price of the boc which was full o9f other goodies too. only one I won't use (I will give it away) is couscous...I don't like the stuff! There was a slight problem in as much as a carton of juice burst and spoiled a couple of things but these were re-embursed by Approved Foods with no quibble.”

“In the old days they used to be very good value; also they had much better customer service than the competition (and still do). Although it mostly seems to be luxury products now (at a huge discount to "RRP" but still expensive) they do often still have some great bargains on basics too.”

“Packaging great no brakage even with a packet of buiscuts! Some fantastic deals and gives you a chance to try something you might not have due to cost. My only disappointment was the lucky boxes i got one was £2 and one was £5. After reading other users comments and seeing pics of what was in theirs i felt mine didnt seem to contain the brands others had and infact had a few id not heard of and seemed to be covered in a dust like substance.”

“Good selection of foods, some beyond B.B.F dates some with really good dates. The only down side is -if you find a good product then chances of buying again are really low. I would prefer the site to have a consistent shipping discount on larger value orders rather than one day free or half price and the next full price! Any out of stocks should be automatically refunded not put as a credit on your account (refunded if you contact them). I. do feel if you are still shopping and have an item, items in your basket they should stay there, but you can find that if you have the last one , ones in your basket it can disappear if another customer clicks to add it to their basket :-( Overall a good site with good prices , interesting products and quite quick delivery.”

“Good value stuff if you're not bothered about the look of the tins. One jar was smashed but was wrapped in bubble wrap so must gave been just thrown around in the back in transit so just one of those things couldn't be helped. Impressed so far.”
