“Amazing selection of goods, but difficult to navigate easily, using do down menu- end up looking at things you don't need and end up buying them- perhaps a good business plan!! Arrived a little later than I'd like, 5 days, but polite driver and well packaged, undamaged goods. So far, all tastes good and should last 1-2 months.”

“terrible customer service, even worse delivery firm cant even deliver to the correct address or on time , and waste of time trying to sort it out as they are not interested, and this is on more than once this has happened,,, but it won't happen again as wont be ordering again”

I can see that our customer service department got straight back in contact Monday morning as soon as they received your messages, and that the order has now been refunded. “Just received my first order and am so pleased with everything. Amazing value. Approved Foods kept in touch all the time regarding delivery etc. Too many sweets in the £1 mystery box though but I had to eat them all!! :-)”

“Some of the food although out of date, tasted fine. However the chocolate had to be binned as it tasted terrible, it had a May 2021 date. Lucky Box, although an absolute bargain at a £1, had little in it, I would buy. Tbh, I wouldn't use again. The courier was very pleasant and did carry the box upstairs.”

“i kept getting emails about products so i thought i would indeed give it a go, save myself a few pence in the process, but will never buy again, food was all out of date, even the kids didnt eat it, will not buy again , nor will i tell anyone else to, a complete waste of time, money and effort, did not bother contacting the company as what's the point.,”

We specialise in goods that are close to or have already passed their best before date, so that we can provide a discounted rate and help reduce landfill. As we deal with these dated items, all dates are advertised on the product page and listed in the basket at checkout so that customers are able to make an informed decision before they place their order. “The Starbucks coffee pods tasted fine and were good value for money. I would buy again but your £9.00 delivery charge to my part of Scotland is likely to deter me from purchasing most of what you can offer. Many of your competitors manage to deliver similar small, light parcels to the whole of the UK mainland free or without a surcharge. Come on Approved Foods - sharpen your pencil.”

We do work hard to try and make sure that these costs are as low as possible, but these are in line with what we are charged by the courier for different areas meaning that we aren't always able to provide a cheaper rate.
