“We had instructed Allcott Associates for a level 3 building survey and we are highly satisfied with the service provided by them. Communication has been very prompt and easy since day one. The surveyor has done a great job by looking into every details and advising on every aspect of the property that needs our attention. Also, the report was promptly prepared and sent to us within a few days. It was professionally drafted, yet very easy to understand, and also, our follow up queries were responded to swiftly. Overall, excellent service at a very reasonable charge. Strongly recommended for any sort of property survey!”

“Quote given for a survey but when I called to arrange a date they informed me that the surveyor covering my area (Milton Keynes) was on furlough. I totally appreciate the current situation but updating a website or not generating quotes based on postcode shouldn't be too difficult. When I raised this the call handler she didn't seem bothered or even apologise.”

Thank you for your message. There appears to have been a misunderstanding here. The surveyor in question is not on furlough, but is isolating. We take our responsibilities in terms of mitigating Covid risk very seriously and we have therefore been unable to book a survey in on this occasion.

“So far really positive. Only negative was how long it took to book in the survey to be done but given current circumstances that’s understandable. Got the full report in four days when I explained how quickly we needed it. Report seems detailed enough and we know what repairs need to be carried out. Would definitely reuse this company.”

“The full structural survey we requested was carried out promptly - even brought forward due to a cancellation, and the report we received was of the excellent and thorough standard we were anticipating. I was informed of what was happening at every stage, and the only thing I could fault was some discrepancy in a layman's understanding of one of the terms of service, which was cleared up in communications with Allcott Associates. We asked for this service to be carried out for me, the buyer, in addition to the survey requested by the mortgage company so have a direct comparison to that company, and Allcotts were comparatively excellent, I am very glad that we opted to commission them independently of the mortgage company. The thorough survey they provided has enabled us to try to renegotiate the price of the property and be confident in walking away if we have to, or go in with eyes fully open to the works required and their potential costs if the negotiation is successful.”

“Every person I spoke to was friendly and informative. The survey was fantastic value in comparison to other providers but there was no compromise on the service I received or the comprehensiveness of the survey completed. I would highly recommend Allcott Associates to anybody that needs a survey.”
