“Prompt delivery but unfortunately there was a damaged base part on the trampoline. Customer service were very prompt to pass the request on to Plum but 3 weeks later and we still don't have the replacement part. I suspect this issue is more down to the manufacturer than Activity Toys Direct but all round the service has fallen slightly short of the required mark.”

“The swing looks good but is very wobbly as the holes where you slot the wooden poles into are too big. We have had to buy wooden wedges to fill the holes. Our children are to scared to use the swing at present.”

Legs are intentionally not a tight fit into the corner brackets, particularly when dry. You may notice that when the wood is swollen after heavy rain, the expansion will close the gap within the brackets.

“Easy to put together. Not as high as I thought it would be and the tray for the sand wasn’t as deep as I thought it would be. But our Grandson loves it.”

“Looks amazing however not as sturdy as I thought it would be. My little boy got this for his 1st birthday and his feet swipe the ground on the swing so no room for growing little ones”

“The Mud Kitchen arrived very quickly which was great. However I was a little disappointed with the quality of the item in some ways, given the price. I know it is meant to be rustic, and this is why I chose this product from you rather than others, however in many places the finish wasn't great. For example, on the top cross-beam the edges of the pre-drilled holes were completely rough with splinters coming out, which isn't great for children. Also one of the legs has a large chip (about an inch) out of the corner from the pre-drilled hole to the edge of the corner, and the chip wasn't in the box otherwise I would have just glued it back on. It is also a shame that the identification numbers on the pieces end up being on show. I shall get them sanded off at some point, but it was a shame to not be able to just have it clean and ready to use. Also the flower box doesn't quite fit into the gap it is supposed to, it is about 5mm too long. We can sand it down to make it fit, but just a shame. We had to use the product as is, otherwise we wouldn't have had time to replace / rebuild before our daughter's birthday. She does love it, but it is a shame the quality wasn't quite as hoped.”

“We are happy with the item but the company have not been great. I booked a specific day for delivery, the item came a week early (luckily we were in) and a piece was damaged. I then had another delivery on the original day I had requested! Wouldn’t use this company again but the kids are happy with the slide.”

“Very difficult to put together some sections don’t line up adequately with the screw points. Not sure how secure it is for young children. Very disappointed.”

“Item arrived intact although box was damaged at edge, disappointed order did not arrive Wednesday as confirmed it would be when order was placed arrived next day which was less convenient for myself, courier did keep me updated of time of delivery. Otherwise happy with item.”

Dear Susan, I am sorry to hear the box arrived damaged. This item left us in good condition, however the goods are handled many times by our courier before reaching you. The delivery was a 2-day service due to your location.

“This was bought for Christmas so we have yet to put it up. I was disappointed though that the price went up from £179 to £229 before I could purchase the swing only to find out that 10 days later it had been reduced again back to the original price of £179. How unfair is that.”

“I ordered a kitchen for my son The parcel arrived all bashed looked very bad. The contents were all there and didn't look damaged. The kitchen door has warped a bit due to the fact it may have been stored in a cold area apart from that it's ok”

“delivery of this toy was a joke no time slot at all sat waiting 2 full days, when i got intouch with them to be told driver had knocked but didn't leave nothing through the door to contact them on, so was late getting toy for my sons birthday he loves it but its just bits of plastic soo over priced for what it is wouldnt recommended it to anyone”

“Got delivered quickly and all parts were there and good quality. Only problem is that there is a lot of movement in the frame of the swing due to the sockets being to big. This might be fixed by using wedges to pack it out. Maybe better having the sockets made smaller!”

“Product of good quality and exactly as stated. However delivery with DPD dreadful! I was expecting delivery to my home address only to be informed by email that it was going to be delivered to local Halfords store! Took day off work to stay in for delivery. DPD informed me that they would send a passcode to pick up goods from store but I didn’t get one from them. I went to store but they wouldn’t let me have the goods without the passcode. The goods were behind the counter waiting with my name on but I had to go home to wait for code. I eventually after slot of effort and frustration got through to a customer advisor at DPD the next day, who said the goods had not been delivered to store yet. I politely disagreed as I had seen the goods the day before. After 15 minutes waiting on the phone the CSA said I could go collect the goods in store with ID. I went to store and the assistant just handed the goods over and did not verify my ID at all. Very frustrating! At last I got my goods but a day later than needed to be and missed giving my grand-daughter her birthday present on her birthday. Really annoying as I had paid for the privilege of choosing delivery date on purchase! Not happy with delivery service and will not be using the company again!”

“It’s a big wagon you have to have big car . Wheels fall off while we were playing so had to order new parts for an extra £5 . Belts come off too .”

“Price was good, delivery quick... But... all the screws etc were missing so it really wasn't ideal. Called them and they sent out a packet with what we needed for delivery before 10am the next day which did happen but I really didn't expect to be missing all the fixings with a carpenter waiting to put it together. If everything had been delivered together it would have been 5*”
