“Happy with everything- however - gambas use all sorts of clefs; I checked the score on the photograph which showed the alto clef (C clef 3rd line) and assumed the insert would use the same clef for my tenor viol. Unfortunately it used the tenor and bass clefs which I don’t read. You really need to state the clef for viol / gamba music in future”

“Sale was fine and speedy plus delivery was within 24 hours. The bit that let them down was the packaging. Limited airbags in box allowed the item to move around and the delivery people may have stepped on the box. Ackermans were speedy to cover any issues and will cover if the instrument in the future.”
