“An excellent service all round. Every aspect seemed to have intelligent competent knowledgeable humans involved. Ackerman seems genuinely focussed on giving its customers the best possible service. I needed a score for which I wouldn't expect much demand, Hindemith's Phantasy: Sonata Op 54 for viola and piano. Ackerman had it available. Their excellent website seemed designed for ease of use by a customer. There was nothing tricksy or driven by marketing rather than by what the customer wanted. There was a straightforward choice of ways to have the item delivered. I chose standard post, free. My order arrived the next day. The cardboard packet was efficient and attractively designed. It warned the delivery person not to bend it. The Weinberger score was beautiful and had an extremely useful introduction. It was a very reasonable price. Even the invitation to review was better than many. It leaves the customer free to say what they want.”
