Terrible experience. Cancelled my insurance policy. Was made aware that the whole family had Covid, and unfortunately my father in law passed away from it. I was waiting for proof of no claims bonus from previous company. No discretion was offered at a time like this. Death certificate etc were offered as proof. Then they proceeded to charge us more than double the price of the original policy. Ridiculous and terrible customer service. Will never use again, and will NOT be recommending them

I’m sorry very bad ecoeriance with first choice insurance service not quick enghf and also they said when they sell the policy covered all i asked them after when i start to claim they said not covered is this disappointed i’m not happy with the insurence

Had to cancel insurance due to being sold a faulty van and sent it back to seller.. I was charged around £700 for 3 weeks insurance which I feel in some cases people pay way less than that for a whole year.. I was told this was due to set up fees but how can that be if people pay way less than 700 for insurance for a year with the set up fees etc.. I do feel ripped off to be honest. On a good note I have been dealing with Mandy Lanning who is a massive credit to your company.. shes helped me with my claim and was very understanding with my issues and even helped in her own time and picked up my phone call when she should of been heading home from a long days work so thank u mandy I cant thank u enough :) A++++++ service from mandy but unfortunately with the amount I've been charged I cannot recommend this company for insurance

Took out a policy and then told it was cancelled got hold of someone and told there ring me back but still waiting for phone call only been three days Called there number and spent hour and half on hold and then give up waiting would not recommend going with these again you pay cheap and that’s the service you get

This company is an absolute disgrace and should be avoided. After taking out a policy and paying in full I started receiving emails asking for proof of no claims and proof from a previous insurer an old claim was a non fault claim ,All this was sent. I then received emails saying there was an additional premium of £1086.20 or they would cancel policy. My previous insurer confirmed by letter my previous claim was hit and run and recorded as Non fault but Ist choice made excuse after excuse not to accept it. Finally with nowhere to go and banging my head against a brick wall I agreed to pay the balance, I asked for monthly direct debit for this balance ,their answer was ,as I had opted to pay in full at start of policy I could not pay the additional premium by installments ,so I had no choice but to cancel the policy. Gave them £1700, Refund of £1300 £400 taken for 3 weeks cover, Absolute disgrace and a nightmare to try and resolve issues they manufacture

I will not even give them one star but no choice. They did my courier insurance and take £320.19. 2days later they email me saying that my insurance will be cancelled. Because my car is not suitable for courier. There Was Luke cheaslum. Mike.Daniel . Rose. Everybody was saying we will call you back no body was calling me. The wanted to steal my money. After they give me £50 short of my money. Don’t give your money at front. I was out of work for three weeks. My number is07737792000 I don’t know what to do? Is there any one can help?

Very unhelpful I'm a disatifed custom as you have stolen just shy off £1100 off me with no refund also resulted in a cancelled policy and you also block my number so thank a bunch 1st choice !!!

I never received my policy all year despite requesting twice I never received any renewal quotes when my policy came to end and when I spoke directly to my insurers they informed me that they have told 1st choice a month ago that they will not be able to insure this year very unhappy with the lack of service

Really a bad choice of choosing this insurance , I mean I told them initially everything and one day I received a call that my Insurace is cancel and now I can’t drive . Later they took good commission as well by refunding me less amount . Don’t try this

They gaved me an offer and after I insured the car with them they increased the rate and ask me to pay a very high rate ,unafordable .
