“Ordered an engine for a Mercedes on 29th July. Not told it would take 7-10 days to deliver.
Eventually arrived today, 22 August. No paperwork. Mike Caffery only told me the 7-10 day delivery on 7th August after the rep Bailey had failed to do so. Very poor communication on all telephone calls. Failed to call back when promising to do so on several occasions. Only made progress when Mike was involved.”

“Two weeks since part was ordered,{ supposed to be 5-7 days} bank account debited within 2 days, and even after contacting seller I still have not recieved item ordered, definitely will not reccommend this service to anyone......”

“Not that good first fuel tank no good next one went much higher in cost then next day went up in price the brought it only to wait two weeks waiting for delivery to be told they didn’t send it because was no good but wasn’t notified at all had to keep ringing to find out where the part was”

“I was looking for a replacement rear light cluster. Having purchased one from E Bay for £25.00 and found it to be a very poor quality Chinese item I decided to spend more on what I thought would be a better quality one from 1st choices. So having paid £80.00 for one I was somewhat surprised to receive an exact same Chinese special! In the exact same box with the exact same tape!, for and additional £55.00!! And to top it it was broken. A call and some photo evidence that the cheap piece of tat was in fact broken and yet another was sent and received. They won't be going on the vehicle.”

“It furned out that all the breakers did not have the right part or offered parts for the wfong mode.
What possible interest woult one have in a say a Gen 3 prius when looking for a part for a gen1”

The nature of recycled spares is that they are not always available.
If after checking your emails or texts, you do not receive many quotes first time round, it's likely your parts were not widely available on that day.
With over 150 Breakers nationwide however, between them they are processing literally hundreds of additional vehicles every day.
So if you have not found the parts you need, you can log back into the site and re-send your request automatically.

“I ordered a pair of electric window regulators and only one came. It wasn’t labeled so I wasn’t to know whether it was off or near side.
The supplier was supposed to call me back but after a good few days I made contact and was told that they tried calling me, why didn’t they just leave me a message on my answer machine!”

“1st Choice seemed to be fine, but the company they put me in touch with was a total rip off, and I’m sitting here with half of the parts I paid for which are not complete, and the other half never came, and all’s they do is lie to me about getting my money back, which I know they will not send to me. So no, I’m not happy with that company at all. Their name is Foreign Car Spares, and they should be avoided like the plague, I only wished I would have read the reviews before buying anything from FCS. So I guess your company did what they were supposed to, but you should be more aware of the company’s you promote for your customers is up to standards, and not total cowboys!!”

I was forced by them to make the transaction without the secure link.

“Received the headlamps on time but one of them was broken having been badly repaired. After sending pictures they offered to replace but they wanted broken part returned first. Ended up repairing it myself but gave me unnecessary hassle”

'Yes, I agree you did pay us £100. I've listed back to the call If you recall your quotation was £84 originally and we made it £100 all in after you made us aware of your postcode.'
