“Received the headlamps on time but one of them was broken having been badly repaired. After sending pictures they offered to replace but they wanted broken part returned first. Ended up repairing it myself but gave me unnecessary hassle”

'Yes, I agree you did pay us £100. I've listed back to the call If you recall your quotation was £84 originally and we made it £100 all in after you made us aware of your postcode.'

“Initial offer, sale agreed, payment details given but items didn't arrive and seller said they had no tracking number as DHL hadn't scanned them.
Next source didn't actually have the parts, but came up on the search every day for a week.
Finally bought the 2 items separately (but from same supplier!). Had to settle for the wing being wrong colour so needing respray - extra cost at bodyshop - but price was fair and items arrived promptly and very well wrapped.”
“There are a lot of breakers on here that would sell their mother if they could . Disappointing service as very few sellers give an accurate description of the part they are trying to sell and if you haven't bought in first days then price increases . Not confident buying on here trying ebay now where ebay can step in and help if there is a problem . Love breakers yards but not where I cannot see what I am buying .”

The nature of recycled spares is that they are not always available.
If after checking your emails or texts, you do not receive many quotes first time round, it's likely your parts were not available on that day.
With over 150 Breakers nationwide however, between them they are processing literally hundreds of additional vehicles every day.
So if you have not found the parts you need, you can log back into the site and re-send your request automatically.

“Ordered mirror for my Yaris on thursday 15th from derby, Parts got lost(?) and on tuesday20th they sent it again by DHL and I changed the delivery to my daughter's in Wales as I was going there for a wedding. “Got a contact for the part pretty quickly. Gave out my phone number and they got in touch.Ordered on the 14th.Feb. Told it would be in 3 days. Still hadn’t arrived on 21st.Feb.Rang them and they assured me it had been sent. Rang them again still waiting for the part 24 th.Feb. Told them to track or re-check the address it turns out they had sent it to the wrong address! I told them if it wasn’t delivered by Mon.28th. I would cancel this order - it was delivered on 26th.Feb. If I had bought new from a main dealer I would have it the same day ,and I saved about £25.”
