“1st time I had put together a Pi 4 and the PoE HAT. All went very smoothly having also opted for the PoE+ HAT Case from the Pi-Hut. The fan noise (so far) is neglible and is drowned out by other, noisier electronics in my study. My Ubiquiti switch provides all the power it needs. Good choice, great product.”
“Does the Job it help me to have a tidier lab with a small PoE switch and small patch cores , ( I bought 2 for my 2 PIs lab) and unfortunately I cannot leave the lab on all the time as one of them has a high pitch noise when use, while the other one kicks the fan every 3 min like clock works, even when the Pis are idle (cpu at 0.5% utilisation)
So I shutdown the PIs after use....”
