Having just reviewed the Cotswold Crunch I have to say the Eight Grain is just as good, I use this as is as opposed to blending, as it is a bit lighter, but I have also added Red Malt Flour to it and it always turns out excellent with great rise and texture and I highly recommend all Matthews flours. The photo is of the bread I made with 20g Red Malt added.

This flour is good for adding to wholemeal flour as a mix because it's basically a white flour. I like to add sunflour seeds and rye etc to wholemeal loaves so using this as half and half with a good wholemeal flour is a convenient way to do that and produces a really good loaf that makes marvellous toast!

Excellent flour, makes a really nice wholesome loaf. Service from Bakery Bits was excellent, quickly rectifying a mistake I made regarding delivery, and were cheaper than buying direct from the Mill!

Makes a beautiful granary type loaf (even in bread maker). Use with saf levure dried yeast.

Fantastic tasty, multipurpose flour that produces great results regardless of whether I'm making bread machine loaves, handmade loaves, sourdough, pizza, focaccia or whatever. It's a big bag but it doesn't last long so that's a good thing. Great company & website. Very reliable.
