A consistently light texture with a nutty flavour. Not as heavy as wholemeal or the malted breads but with plenty of flavour so does not need any additional nuts or grains. Makes great bread for sandwiches and bread buns.

The consignment was delivered in this currently difficult time in good order and sound packaging. The flour has produced some excellent loaves/rolls which we have enjoyed. We would recommend the Matthews Eight Grain to others. Mrs and Mr A.H.Kenny

Used half and half with white bread flour makes a very tasty loaf.

Unable to buy bread flour anywhere, Bakery Bits came to the rescue. Great quality flour, delivery in reasonable time scale. Very happy and I will be back in the future.

I usUaly use 2 or 3 flours when I bake bread. Among other things, Matthews eight grain contains malted wheat flakes, rye flakes, oat flakes, malted wheat flour and various seeds. I used 25% of eight grain along with strong white and wholemeal flour and it added a real depth of flavour which was appreciated by the bread conoisseurs in my house. So it's a definite thumbs up for Matthews Eight Grain...
