What wonderful flour. I made my first loaf of this in the Netherton loaf pan bread cloche. It came out perfectly. The oven spring is wonderful, the crust is extremely tasty, and the crumb is soft and delicious. I will be buying more of this flour.

This is the second time I have purchased the Mathews Eight Grain flour and I'll probably keep doing as it makes the most wonderfully tasty sourdough bread. I buy the 16kg as I bake twice a week and its great value to buy in bulk. I have recommended it to a few of my friends who all love the taste.

I love this flour and often buy it directly from the manufacturer. However, I thought I'd give 'Bakery Bits' a go and so far haven't been disappointed. If you're looking for a really tasty, homemade loaf, Eight Grain is highly recommended - by me in any case.

This is lovely flour for bread making, it's not too heavy as some seem to be. I add an egg yolk for added rise and you get a lovely crumb.

Excellent flavour, great quality. I usually mix it with some whole meal spelt and maybe a little rye flour. Add some pumpkin and sunflower seeds and it makes a fabulous loaf of bread. It is often an ‘overnight loaf’ so minimum effort involved, who said making bread was difficult.

I just cannot find a better flour mix for bread for all occasions. Lovely nutty flavours in an open texture.

A good strong bread flour, with a fine amount of seed distributed throughout. Mixed with a malthouse flour, this produces a delicious, wholesome bread.
