“In reality the choice was pre-made none of the other companies had the qualities I required, Value for Money was also a consideration as I maintain “ good no cheap—cheap no good “ Again steering me towards W & H. I am now considering other items of theirs before the change in the weather.”

“I was looking to buy a gilet in natural materials since I already had fleeces made of polyester. My research took me to Walker and Hawkes, so I ordered their waxed cotton gilet in a great olive green. The quality, styling and practicality of the gilet is excellent, together with its almost unbelievable price, and I reckon it will last me a lifetime. First class English workmanship.”

“Brought the hunting gilet for my husband who absolutely loves it. Gets comments on it daily. Excellent quality and excellent fit. Keeps him nice and warm during these cold mornings. Delivery was very prompt. Highly recommend Walker & Hawkes”

“I ordered a Shetland wool flat cap from Walker and Hawkes to replace a worn out M&S cap. The M&S cap used Shetland wool cloth woven by Abraham Moon in the UK. M&S now produce cap in w generic wool fabric and country of origin not specified. So I googled Shetland wool caps and W&H came up. I was pleased to see that they use Shetland wool fabric made by Abraham Moon. I ordered a cap in blue fabric and it arrived two days later. The cap was of excellent quality and I tried it on. Calamity it was too small. I contacted W&H and they to send it back FOC and reorder a larger size. They also said next time to order seversl sizes to find a hat with the best fit and then return the other FOC. The new cap arrived two days later and was perfect. I was reimbursed for the returned cap once W&H recieved it. Looking forward to a warm head this winter.”
