“I have several caps and berets, all of them size 59 large, so when I ordered a cap from Walker and Hawkes, I naturally ordered a size 59 large. The cap arrived within a reasonable time but was too big. I called Walker and Hawkes and was told I probably needed a smaller cap, but would I? Was that cap miss labelled? Walker and Hawkes didn’t offer to check it for me. If I did need a smaller cap, what size should I order? How many times would I have to return a cap and order another before I had one that fitted? I have no idea. But one thing I do know, and that is never to buy from Walker and Hawkes.”

“A chap realised with the onset of winter that his hat collection was missing sufficient coverage of the waterproof variety. Having previously purchased a navy waxed hat last year, a brown hat was required for this season. Purchased and dispatched very promptly, I am indeed grateful that I did given the current weather situation.”

“While the quality, style, colour and finish are outstanding - I had loved a clear indication that a Walker and Hawkes 42 will not match a „UK42“ (which is about 5 inches larger!). So now I am on a forced diet, since a return and change is out of question - living in China !”
