Gates are not the size as advertised. I bought 6 x 3 gates and they came up 6" shorter in height and an 1" shorter in the wifth. Shame as very professional outfit.

The gravel described as Golden Flint gravel, graded as 20mms in size, does not match the image shown on the website of Sure Green even when wet. The gravel is described as Golden (Corn) Flint gravel on the label provided by the original supplier ( Long Rake Spar) and is graded as 10 -20 mms in size. The gravel is mostly buff in colour and does not have the browns and golden colours shown in the image and description and is a mix of stones between 10 - 20 mms.

Timber advertised as 100 x 100 UC4 fence posts all came as 93 x93 and no markings for UC4? One was damaged and other different colour! Also ordered 50 x50 UC4...this was a combination of colours and bent timbers but Suregreen must have known as they sent 4 more than needed...not sure these were UC4 either but had to use them to finish job. To their credit SG did replace the two 95 x 95 FOC but I am going to have to think carefully how I match these with true 100 x 100 posts I am using for path edging Not a good experience at all and given me a number of headaches😡. SG get your advertising sorted and selection of timber if you want good reviews😡😡

I received 1/2 of my order all good. Next day drive phone to say he had 2 of my panels and was dropping them off but they were damaged, said he didn't drop them the day before because of the damage, he had spoken to company and the said they had spoken to me and it was fine. They had not asked and it was not fine. Who would want damaged goods. I have message but no response. So not happy

Product was absolutely fine, very happy in fact, and order was delivered when expected, however this star rating is due to the delivery driver who was blatantly rude. Sat in front of mine and next doors drive for several minutes before offloading the delivery. Honestly I have zero issue with this, and would have invited him in for tea if he wanted to take a load of and enjoy his lunch, but when I walked up to the van asking if he was here for number 22 and was waiting for anything (fyi this was a completely harmlessly toned question) it was met with blatant rudeness, he was aloof at best and made the experience miserable. Rude is the most polite language I’m comfortable using but it was way more than this in my mind. Many thanks, James

Had to wait a week for delivery and still had to pay £30 delivery charge even though I dont live in a congestion charge or ulez area. If I lived 10 to 50 miles further away from your shop I would have had free delivery doesn't make sense because of the charge I won't be using you company again

I substituted an item in my order (which was not ideal) because my preferred choice was indicated as not in stock on the website. After confirming my order I heard nothing further. I called after about 2 weeks to be told that items in the order were out of stock and the order was delayed. Clearly, I need not have amended my original order. The major part of my order was green 2.4m sleepers. In a pile they looked reasonable. When it came to actually use them I was disappointed in the quality and had to be very careful how they were placed to try to minimise the negative aspects. These sleepers were poorly sawn. Ridges where the saw had cut through in two planes, splintered ends from cross cuts, and large splinters, chipped and rough edges which are the most difficult to hide from view when they affect more than one edge. Overall a good price, not the most brilliant service and a disappointing product.

Delivery took place today. No notification by the driver or any tracking. Item left outside my house. The door bell was not even rung. I have camera as well as a electrice bell. Poor delivery service. The item could have been easily stollen. A courtesy call to my mobile letting me know would have been much appreciated.

Hi, I purchased a £181. Worth items but the issues was with really bad mould on 5 x 2.4m oak posts, even though I sent images showing these Vick wasn’t able to swap or sort the problem out because out stock. I sent 20 emails waiting for reply’s but got wrong answer to my questions & the only thing is a return or 50% refund after 2 weeks trying to sort out a badly supplied product they supplied me. I agreed on an email to do a test on 600mm area to see if you l could clean off the mould, it did work 90% clean I suggested to belt sand them to remove the rest of the mould. I was then advised I had contaminated the post they used this to get rid of me & there moldy posts I went away for the 50% off £37. because it was a battle I didn’t enjoy & wasted my time put a tow week delay on my project they didn’t care about this. I cleaned the post & belt sanded 9.6m x 5 it took me over 6 hrs really hard work, I am very disappointed with the service I received & wouldn’t use them again, I spent £11. on a wood mould cleaner & £7 on belts + electric I got £3:50 a hour for my hard work. I have work with wood most of my life & run my own company for 34yrs manufacturing wood and board products on bespoke furniture. This is what they are like if it goes wrong sadly. Peter

Ordered 2 large planters and 1 small. Was emailed a few days later; Only 1 large planter in stock when they checked the stock. I called and revised the order and we agreed the order would be put on hold until I called to set a delivery date. I receive a text from DHL whilst lying in Hospital to say the order is being delivered, I again postponed it. They arrive, left in the rain by DHL, all were damaged, the large planter was really damaged, and the offer of 15% off to keep them was a joke and I dispose of them, i.e take them to the dump 45 mins away in my car. Long story short, they refunded the entire order as would be more ££ to send DHL with new boxes to put them in given the old ones were sodden, and send back. I dont think I will be using Suregreen again unless I REALLY HAVE TO given their inefficency and the planters were clearly damaged before being boxed up to send.

Ordered some 150mm x 75mm mini sleepers. The 3.0m length were fine but the 2.4m sleepers were 6" x 3" so you couldn't place them alongside the others without steps. Suregreen explained that all tolerances were +/- 5mm and that differences must be expected. So if you order 75mm x 150mm, one piece could be 70mm x 145mm and another be 80mm x 155mm and that should be considered acceptable! Not impressed.

TR4 grass reinforcement. Is much more difficult to lay flat than expected. The edges seem stretched, so it lays in regular waves along the edges...needs a lot more pins than supplier states to get flat.

Next day delivery for £400 worth of railway sleepers would normally be a good thing. But arrived heavily damaged. Poorly packages/badly handled. I was told 2 people had to be home to receive the delivery & the delivery driver was told he'd be expecting 4 people. Shoddy all round to say the least. Unimpressed & disappointed. Lesson learned.

Products good , service erratic ranges from very good to terrible. So slow on picking , and even slower to communicate items have been picked and ready for collection. Its like going back 50 years in time , the image you project is at odds with your underlying potential. Seem to have it in your heads that the customer moves at your speed, so wrong , in the real world (this century) its the other way around I am afraid.

Never received order due to items being damaged in transit. No fault of Suregreen, however, had to chase, after receiving an email from Courier. Surely the Courier should inform Suregreen & Suregreen should inform the customer. To keep my order through yourselves, as a goodwill gesture the offer of a next-day delivery should have been offered at no cost, the courier should pay for this as they damaged the items. Still awaiting a full refund.

Long time delivery and very unhelpful driver. He said that due to the lack of equipment in his truck he could not delivered the stones to the door of the house, and he delivered them to wherever he liked. I had to manually carry on the stones to the right place. I will never buy again.

On reviewing the delivery photograph taken by our driver that day, the stones appear to have been left directly next to your back door which was the only area with vehicle access to you. As our vehicle is too large to access any narrow side streets, this would have been left where access was possible at the time of delivery.
