Stanhope is a leading provider of niche and specialist insurance to the UK home insurance market. We focus on providing solutions that fit outside the standard UK home insurance norms. This could be an expensive item of jewellery, a property that is thatched or a home that is undergoing renovation works.

If you can’t find the solution through standard insurance platforms, then you will most likely have come to us as your next port of call.

Stanhope provides customers with highly personalised insurance products that their specific and specialist circumstances require. We will insure valuable items of jewellery whilst you are living away from home because your house, which has subsidence (which we are also insuring), is undergoing renovation works!

We are dedicated to providing exceptional levels of customer service and want all our customers to know that they have the right insurance policy in place at the right price, for their specific set of circumstances.

“We had a temporary situation re building work and our usual provider had stopped covering thatched houses. Aimee worked hard to track down a tailor made policy for this year. Issues beyond her control meant the policy is expensive bur she explained once we have a completion certificate there may be scope to change the pick and get a small refund. I feel Aimee has the clients interests as centre focus. We almost took out an unsuitable policy elsewhere until she diplomatically suggested I ask one or two questions to check the cover was appropriate for us. I would recommend Stanhope to friends .”

“I am thrilled to have chanced across Stanhope Insurance. Stacey Sullivan has been exceptionally helpful and efficient throughout the process and as a result I have opted to go with them. We required a rebuild assessment to make sure we had the right cover and they recommended a firm to do that and then came up with an amazingly competitive rate. “I was hugely impressed with Ryan who was very knowlegeble and very proactive in getting my insurance finalised and active. Often insurance companies try to make you do all the work and just take payment when youve completed all the forms. Ryan really took the load off of me and made it very easy to insure the contents of my house. Excellent service!”
