“I have no problem with the service, however the no. 18 chisel blades I purchased are appalling. The edge breaks off cutting a 1mm ships wooden plank. You don't get one successful cut without having to throw away the blade. Other blades I can use for days until they lose their edge. Very poor. I would stock better quality.”

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I’ll be honest, it’s a bit disappointing to see a two-star rating when the issue is with the product itself rather than the service you received. Your order was processed and delivered as expected, so the rating doesn’t really reflect your experience with us as a shop. Regarding the blades, we haven’t had any other reports of problems with this item, but every material behaves differently and sometimes a particular wood can simply be too hard or brittle for a certain blade type. I understand it’s frustrating when something doesn’t perform the way you expect. If you want us to pass your feedback to the supplier we’re more than happy to do so.

“Everything was delivered speedily and in good order, as usual. The scalpel blades have an amusing story. I'd tried ordering them on Amazon along with a bottle of Cognac. They sold me the Cognac but refused to sell me the scalpel blades as they could confirm my age. What utter nonsense. 😂😂😂”
