“Unfortunately on opening, one of the clear bags looked like it had been opened and resealed. There was a spur with the poly caps was missing! I’ve contacted Meng spares and they are dealing with it for me. The kit itself looks good though”

“I have to give 5 stars. I know it can look false but I ordered the paints, the paints came exactly when they said they would come, the paints were exactly as ordered. How can you give less? NB this was the third order I'd done with them in about 2 weeks. All the others were problem free, on time and exactly as ordered too.”

“I'm new to modelling, previously only doing the usual airfix models when I was a kid. So now almost retired, I have the time and more importantly the money. So I've been ordering and the scale model shop it excellent. Very well laid out website easily navigated (which is good for an old fud like me) With everything thing I need to create my models and dioramas. I'm hooked and will be ordering again as it arrived promptly and I am loving every moment”

“Service great! However suggest you consider postal charges. I wanted to order some knife blades and was put off by £6 postage, I didn’t order. Should have been a fraction of this amount…”

Thank you for your review, we don’t have a £6 postage option, our standard delivery charge is £3.89 and for that you can get up to 2kg of products, which is quite a lot.

“My purchase was a pre order item. On the day it was expected to arrive from the supplier I was emailed to say the item was now in, the same I was informed it had been despatched. Two working days later I received my order not too shabby as I selected 'free delivery' as the item wasn't urgent. Well packaged and wrapped. As usual, an excellent service from a great seller.”

“Started building models again after a long time, and i found scale model shop has got everything you need, they don't sell rubbish products and very reasonably priced. You get points when you spend and delivery is fairly priced and it's uk based. What else can i say they are my go to shop for all my modeling supply's. Very happy to do business with you. 5*”
