“I originally bought 4 notch bracelets as gifts for friends (male and female) for when we travel together, so we could gather a notch for each trip. However, as the Notch concept has gained popularity, the costs have gone up. On this basis, I'm not sure I'll continue to buy them after our current trip. It was a great idea but now I'm not sure it's worth the expense. Rather than buying a notch, I could pay for access to a sightseeing ticket for a similar expense. In addition, as someone who wears a lot of jewellery, if a notch bracelet is lost, I would struggle to get an insurer to pay out it's "value", which is actually quiet substantial if you are wearing a bracelet with several notches. All these factors mean I'm not sure we will continue with further purchases going forward.”

“I love the concept of NOTCH. I have 2 bands and 9 Notches, and my wife has at least 12 Notches. The quality of the bands and Notches is superb and the customer service is Excellent. HOWEVER, I have one massive problem that stops me from ordering any more, and that is that the magnet is not perfect, and I have found on at least 10 occasions when taking jumpers or coats off, that the bracelet unclips and comes off. I have found it on my driveway, in the wash basket, on the gym floor and have been very fortunate not to have lost it for good. I have a friend, who also experienced the same problem and lost it altogether, which is very upsetting with £200+ worth of charms on it. I did report this to the team at Notch and asked if they had considered a safety clasp, or 2 charms with a safety chain, similar to what Pandora sell. Unfortunately not. The team did send me a free of charge bracelet in case I had a weak magnet, but it is the same. If this issue was overcome then I would order loads more and would rave about the product.”

“I think the brackets are really nice. When I ordered I asked for plane envelope as it was a present. This never happened and my wife knew what it was two weeks before she should have. Gutted.”

“I was disappointed when I received my order. I ordered a new bracelet and 5 other notches. All of the notches arrived in 1 gift bag. How am I supposed to wrap these as presents when they are loose, they werent even in a small plastic bag each. I was not expecting a tin for each notch but a small gift bag would have been nice.”

“The bracelet with the notches is beautiful, however it has already come off twice so I won’t wearing anywhere for fear of losing it. I would love it if you could come up with a better clasp design.”

“I ordered 3 notches, 2 were exactly what I wanted but the third was disappointing I ordered what was supposed to be a hot pink notch, it was shown as such on screen. However, the notch that arrived was a pale dust pink and very disappointing.”

“Got this for my son, he absolutely loves the bracelet however I purchased two charms one is absolutely fine but the other which is a significant one isn’t the colour it states and therefore doesn’t look as good as it should. For clarification I purchased the DofE bronze and it looks more gold even though I clicked on the bronze”

“I found it impossible to get the rubber rings over the magnetic end of the clasp, so had to improvise with two tiny rubber bands wound round the bracelet. Very disappointed and felt it wasn’t value for the money paid.”

“Sadly, my notch has been a short lived experience. The quality of the "charms" is unquestionable, and I enjoyed building up a small collection of them to celebrate my running achievements. However, within less than a year the clasp on the bracelet failed whilst I was out walking and both bracelet and charms are now lost forever. Given the cost of the charms I would have hoped that the clasp on the bracelet would have been sturdier. After a month of searching I've given up and, sadly, will now seek other methods for celebrating running achievements in future.”

“The product is very good. I was however not happy with the delivery time. When I checked out it said I would be getting 1st class royal mail delivery, which is 1-2days. However when I got the email receipt it said the parcel would be with me in 10 days. This meant that I ended up not getting the product in time for the special occasion for which it was bought. Very poor and this needs to be made clearer when ordering.”

“I have to say I was quite excited about collecting notches, that is until you recently added 40% to your retail price per notch. I already felt that £9.99 was quite high, but just about within budget, but at £14 per notch I'm afraid I'll be throwing the bracelet and notch in a draw to gather dust, unless you decide to review this price hike.”

“My 3-star mark is an average of the bracelet and the service. I am genuinely pleased with the bracelet, I love everything about it, and that is 5. However, for the service, I'm giving you 1. First, you forgot to ship it. It was only after my email that you proceeded with my order, without a word of apology. And then, there was a mess with documents, and it stack at the customs for a while. It's like the international shipping outside Europe was too much for that delivery company.”
