Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“Needed a new harness quickly as the last one broke and Mountain Dog made it happen. Really like the product, Ruffwear flagline, it's lightweight and very tough and the extra length prevents our dog from doing a 'Houdini' and backing out of it. Thanks again Mountain Dog, I cannot recommend you enough”

“Mountain Dog is one of the first places we go to when we're searching for products to purchase for our dogs. They have a good selection and the pricing is always reasonable and the quaity good. We bought the car headrest dog restraint, the Ruffwear short leada and, in the sale, a perfect treat bag which has space for everything. Everything was delivered quickly and packaged well. Definitely will be looking at Mountain Dog when we need anything else!”

“We purchased our mountain dog rucksack for our 13 year old cocker spaniel who has arthritis in her back legs and can only do so much walking as we have recently been on our holiday to the Lake District What an absolute god send the rucksack has been we put her into after a short period of walking and she absolutely loves it her front paws go through the top holes and she sits into with ease and enjoys the free ride on all of our walks ,would highly recommend”

“As a dog walker I’m always looking for new kit. Couldn’t believe the prices on Mountain Dog so was expecting to get some potentially inferior product to use as emergency spares. Instead what arrived is really good quality and design. It was especially nice to see it’s all British Made. I especially like the waterproof collars and leads which have been well tested already, lovely feel to these. I’ve already recommended to the other members of our walking team.”

“Mountain Dog is always my go to store for harnesses, collars and leads. Their website is so easy to navigate and they have a top quality selection which are very reasonably priced. Postage is quick and items are well packaged. It's also very easy to return unused items if you've chosen the wrong size. Have just purchased two Dog Copenhagen Urban Explorer collars for my lurcher. He needed a wide comfy collar but because he pulls a lot and he's strong I really liked the idea of the dual aluminium D-rings for extra security. Far better and more comfortable than his old thick leather collar. Really pleased with my purchase and would recommend Mountain Dog and that particular collar without hesitation.”
