Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“Discovered Mountain Dog recently since we had our pup. Since We have brought him a harness, lead and coat. Everything has arrived well packaged and promptly and the quality of the items have been really good, with another pup owner enquiring where we got his harness. Really happy to use and recommend”

“Our dog is a cross and therefore slim in proportion to her body length. Many suppliers could supply coats with the suitable body lengthe but only mountain dog with an ajustable chest size, so fitting our dog. Thanks.”

“Highly recommend this company - good quality products, reasonable prices, most helpful on the 'phone and prompt delivery. My rescue Staffador and I are loving our new DNA Long Line - it does everything we need. My dog has no recall BUT the really robust but soft long line allows her the space to roam and explore safely on our walks on the moors, whilst is amazingly light weight, comfortable to handle and the lockable carabiner gives extra security. We couldn't be happier and will definitely shop here again!”

“I have used Mountain Dog previously for products that I just can not source locally. This time I purchased a Dog Copenhagen comfort walk air harness. The size chart was accurate and the harness is a good fit for our adult Border Terrier. It doesn't add bulk likes previously used harness and offers free movement with no straps or clips rubbing any wear. There is still room to adjust and hopefully this will last a while.”

“The item i ordered arrived in great time! Then when I thought it was too small I contact customer services and they responded very quickly. I didn't have to return the item in the end as I adjusted the straps on the coat. But the fact that my query was responded to and it arrived very quickly makes me recommend Mountain Dog!”

“Great harness for our basset, we have had another well known harness up until now, this one was good but when walking it moved up under his armpits, causing sores. The Mountain Dog harness clips further back avoiding these areas. Well made and really feels he is secure on his walks, a little pricey but our Henry is worth it to make his walks comfortable.”
