“We had my mums cremation service here A lovely quiet tranquil crematorium the gardens look lovely and parking is close. Also a tranquil atmosphere.”

“I had been a guest at a previous funeral at North Herts - was impressed - and it was an easy decision to have my wife's funeral in such a peaceful and tranquil setting. All went to plan, many attendees who were first time visitors also commented on such a nice location.”

“We were very pleased with the way our father’s funeral was handled. The location is good with plenty of parking and the chapel itself is welcoming and warm. We particularly liked the digital options (screens with images of Dad) and the webcast facility which meant relatives in the US could see the service. You made a difficult day more bearable, thank you!”

“Lovely surroundings, despite the cold weather. Live web link for relatives not able to attend, appreciated. Everything was as we hoped it would be and everyone said it was a lovely service. Finally a lovely touch, to give my 2 young grandchildren teddy bears, thank you, they love them.”

“Everything was done very well The room was welcoming and comfortable The technology of pictures and music was of a good standard Arrival and departure was good The celebrant spoke clearly and with a compassionate understanding of the person it was about The whole ceremony gave our family great comfort Thank you to all concerned”

“We had a service in respect of my brother who died aged 60 just after Xmas. This was organised by Barthram Funeral Services of Northallerton. The service was just about right at 30 mins, long enough for an eloquent and fitting tribute by a very good Celebrant in Dave Sanders. A contribution was also made by a family member. The venue was very clean, warm and welcoming (if that term can be used) for a funeral. The music was played on time and at a suitable sound level and the rolling photo tribute on display was equally welcoming. All in all a very suitable venue for a funeral with a reasonable number of mourners.”

“Although it was a short committal service, it was very well done. We couldn't fault the facilities they are first class. The chapel is very comfortable and relaxing. The music and photos were exactly as requested. No complaints at all.”

“The family were exceptionally pleased with the atmosphere created within the crematorium chapel. It was modern, comfortable, light and airy which enabled us to more easily celebrate the life of the deceased, which was important to his family and friends.”
