Service was very good- we weren't rushed in or out and the sound system played clearly.

A so much nicer setting than some, and a very efficient but friendly and helpful service. They managed to find a specific piece of music for us that was not 'on their list' and everything went very smoothly on the day, thank you! My only comment would be that, because of the understandable 'conveyor belt' nature of these things, with a different party booked in each hour, you have to be rushed off. That is fine and we understand it has to be that way, but people naturally tend to stop immediately outside in the covered area to chat on exit and then you are under pressure to try and usher them away when of course they all want to speak to you and be sympathetic etc so you feel very rude. If people are not able to attend the wake afterwards, you also lose the opportunity to just have a quick chat whilst there, so perhaps some thought could be given to an area set slightly away, where the Undertakers don't have to keep pressing you to get everyone to leave? Perhaps there could be an 'arrivals area' for those waiting before a service and a 'departure area' for those after, so neither are a problem to the other and are not physically 'in the way' like you are in the exit area at the moment - it would make a big difference I'd say. Undercover ideally!

The building and grounds are extremely well kept and are light and airy and attractive. The car park was adequate for the amount of mourners. The service went very well and was flawless, exceptional in fact. My only concern was when we drove in, behind the hearse, we were ushered into the car park whereas we wanted to follow the hearse around to the door. We had previously been allowed to do that the year before for Dads funeral. Thank you

Very impressed with the surroundings and the actual crematorium. Personal feel to all aspects and perfectly situated. The entire service was impeccably done, it didn’t feel rushed as some cremations I’ve been to have, it felt relaxed and tranquil and I’ve had many people since that have said how lovely it was.

Fantastic coverage 👏 However, some of the sound was difficult to make out, some background hiss was audible! I was listening on a Smartphone, maybe not the best of coverage? All things considered, a very moving service! I was privileged to witness it. Well Done Everyone 👏 Best Wishes Richard Rivett

The staff were professional and I found all the facilities clean and comfortable. The gardens, which I did not see closely, appeared well designed. Thank you

The crematorium is modern, light and fresh. It has a modern sound system and screen facilities. Once the service is over, there is the covered shelter in which people can congregate and chat. However, there is no such shelter for attendees to congregate prior to the service. We had elderly people who had got out of their cars stood in the wind and rain awaiting the arrival of the hearse. This could be improved.

Overall the office was amazing, as was the celebrant. I was a little disappointed with seating arrangements again by the usher. For example, while my family sat on the front row, there were two empty rows behind my family at the front, so everyone was bunched up at the back, with a big gap in between. I also wanted to walk out last and spend some time at the coffin, while everyone left, so I coul d say my farewell alone. However, I subsequently felt I had to leave first as I was ushered out. However, perhaps I should have said something to the office about this and therefore that part was my fault.

Many thanks. The Crematorium was beautiful. The Pavilion, which we used afterwards, was beautiful and great for a shared lunch for visitors attending the service from afar. The food and drink provided were delicious. A couple of things to consider: 1. We were confused as to when we were meant to go into the Crematorium building and were waiting in the carpark area, in the cold weather, for ages waiting for someone to tell us to go in!! Consequently, everyone arrived in the Crematorium in a bit of a rush and Mum's coffin was already there waiting. It was all a bit of a strange, rushed start. I think it would be a good idea for someone to guide people inside the Crematorium once the previous people have left. 2. As the family of the deceased, we were seated in the comfortable chairs on the left at the front. However, it felt very close, to the lecturn/priest. Maybe it would be best to have some more space there between the lecturn and the front row of chairs.

Approach road could be wider. Arrange traffic island at Port Road junction so that traffic exiting Memoria HAS to turn left.Provide seating for mourners waiting for coffin.Arrange for light refreshments tea/coffee to be available.

Lovely location and good management of music and videography. However, it does seem a bit like a conveyor belt, with one congregation in the front and one out the back. Exiting into the car park is not the best either. It would be nicer to have the exit into the memorial garden.

I was told by the funeral directors that the time limit for the service was 1 hour, so I allowed for 4 tributes to be read out and 4 pieces of music to be played. It transpires that we should be in and out in 40 mins, allowing time for the next funeral to go in. We had to cut one of the tributes out at the last minute, which was very disappointing. It's a lovely room with comfy seats.

Very pleasant and comfy setup. Just a bit short of direction signs from the car park to the entrance at St Asaph.
